Does ganondorf ever die?

I was really wondering that.. I just finished legend of zelda ocarina of time, it was my first zelda game. The ending left me furious, I couldn't believe ganondorf was only temporarily sealed.. so i'm about to start majoras mask then go to twilight princess, am I playing the games in the right order?

Yeah, and after twilight princess play the WindWaker.

Does Bowser die? Thought so.

And I'm pretty sure that Nintendo doesn't care what order u play them in.

Seeing as they have yet to give a timeline, and even so, released the games out of order, there is no correct order. As for Ganondorf dying, for now yes. Of course we can rely on Nintendo to bring him back eventually.

I think that Nintendo are done with him in the actualy Zelda series once and for all. He is not coming back unless it is a game that that weird Brawl, whatever it is, that he's in. As for actualy Zelda? No.

I think they're aware how much damage he did the the timeline by having pointless comebacks that had absolutely little background information or reference. He deserves only one more appearance- one that will explain his timeline chronology.

I too feel that Ganon is getting a bit tiresome, but I have a small fear of what will happen to thegames after they get rid of him: the rest of the series consisting of side-quests/random villain-of-the-week esque antagonists. If they can create a villain who won't feel like he was made JUST to replace Ganon, and give us the impression, "Oh crap, he's serious!" then i'm all for it.

I seriously doubt they're "done" with Ganondorf. Sure, they might leave him alone a while, but he'll be back. It takes more than some flimsy timeline and continuity to keep Ganon down.

As for Bowser parallels, when was the last time Mario actually deliberately tried to kill Bowser? Been a while. Usually he just roughs him up.

Yes. Ganon/Ganondorf dies in Zelda 1, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess and arguably A Link to the Past. However, he reincarnates like Link and Zelda do.

The end of Twilight Princess was pretty ambiguous.

1.if u play wind waker and some of the beggining of PH i think he did die.

2. Gannon is less tiresome than boweser at least zelda changed baddies every now and then.

The timeline was screwed since OoT. Nintendo doesn't give a crap. Ganon will return but not right away.

Dunno. I found a little suspicious that Ganondorf aparently dies in both timelines (the ends of TP and WW)

In Zelda II, I believe that Ganon's minions are trying to bring him back to life.
In the Oracle games, Koume and Kotake resurrect Ganon.
So he has to die, yes.

Ganon will be back. And back and back and back.

Does it really matter if Ganon dies? If he does they'll just make another supervillain to replace him. Besides I kinda like Ganon.

What order are you going by?
Timeline, or release date?

If your going by release date windwaker goes before twilight.
