Re: Does ganondorf ever die?
I agree, at least until the series ends, then maybe. But why do you think so?

Re: Does ganondorf ever die?
Nearly all Gerudos are women. In Hyrule, a male Gerudo is born every 100 years and this man is destined to be the leader of the Gerudos until a new male is born into the tribe. So if Ganondorf dies there is an incarnation of him every 100. That's why there is a new Ganondorf in mostly every Zelda game.

I like ganondorf. I know it's pretty rediculous that he always seems to come back, but you have to have him. Well that's what I think. I personally thought OoT was the best one. I love playing it and beating it over and over again.

From Nabooru's dialogue as well as the Gerudo's dialogue in FSA, it's given that Ganondorf wasn't like the regular leaders of the Gerudo. He either broke even Gerudo laws or broguth theivery to extremism.

Re: Does ganondorf ever die?
Yes he dies. He dies over and over again. Each game kind of goes into it's own new storyline, the only time they ever actually create a timeline is with OOT ---> MM and LOZ ---> AoL and now I believe PH ---> Spirit Tracks. I'm pretty sure ST is a squeal not sure. But as Meep said, he is reincarnated. In WW, they talk about how the clothes were the clothes of the hero and whatnot and now boys where it when they become a certain age. That guy is actually just some kid who wears Link's clothes and goes on an adventure. He is not necessarily reincarnated in this game but it is far into the future. If you want an example, let's assume that TP has the same thing. He wears those clothes because that's the clothes of the hero and he should do that because he's the hero. Again, you could argue that he was not reincarnated but the reason it seems like it is because you keep putting Link as the name in every Zelda game you play
It's extremely confusing and Nintendo really should have thought more about it but who cares they're great games and that's all that matters. |

Re: Does ganondorf ever die?
He'll keep getting reborn I think. He still possesses the triforce of power.

OoT -> MM WW -> PH -> ST And I think that you should play Oracle of Seasons first and then Oracle of Ages. WW is the remake of ALttP and they both (choose the one you like better) take place long after OoT. But other than that I don't think there is any timeline. But Ganondorf might be like Link. Chosen by the gods to do something and therefore if he does die he will be just born again. The chosen hero does need a enemy to defeat and Ganondorf is pretty much the badie that the Goddesses chose for that task. He's the one part of the Triforce you can't kill that any more you can kill Lin or Zelda. I mean Gansie and the princess get time of in certain games but Link never does if you don't count the fact that it's not the same green-hatted boy in every game.

Re: Does ganondorf ever die?
Actually guys, Ganon is the one character of the three that does not live on through descendants. He is always the exact same man as last time. You can tell because in WW he talks about how he fought the Hero of Time and that he was born in a desert. If you pay attention to his dialogue you would know that he is the same guy every time. it's probably because his Power Triforce gives him longevity, or he got that when he was sealed in limbo. And he does not die in either WW or TP, he is turned to stone, with the Master Sword acting as the seal. If anyone draws out that sword, he will probably be freed again.
And the other two aren't "reincarnated", they have descendants. It's not really the same thing. Zombies are the only things that reincarnate (that and fairies haha)

I personally think that he reincarnates, because pretty much everyone in the series seems to reincarnate for whatever reason. Even minor NPCs reincarnate. |

Re: Does ganondorf ever die?
I hate to break this, but if he died, how would he "reincarnate"? He would have no genetic heirs. Unless that's what you meant with the apparent wrongness of my post.
And he very distinctly turned to stone in WW. He turned gray and it made a crumbling sound. And in TP, he was standing when he stopped moving, but I suppose he may have died there. Its less clear than WW was. But in WW, no, he turned to stone, I'm 100% sure. You did play WW right?

Re: Does ganondorf ever die?
Doesn't he get reincarnated in Four Swords Adventures, to another Gerudo?
He dies, but he keeps finding ways to come back. Sometimes he gets sealed, sometimes he dies, but he is a death cheating karma cockroach.
