Oldies but goldies

I don't know about you people, But I hated how Zoras looked in TP.
Why couldn't they keep them like this.

but now they look like this

they didn't have to change them. just render them.

(if you cant see them look up OOT zora then look up TP zora)

I liked the Zora of TP...in fact, my favorite aspect of TP was how it handled the races. I thought both the Gorons and the Zora looked fabulous.

What exactly didn't you like about them? The extra color?

I agree, having the same design as in OoT for instance would've been dull.

But in TO they have those desighns on their bodies and such, In OOT they looked like A whole nother race. TP made them look more like humans. Not Zoras. Gorons where fine though.

They still look pretty fishy to me. For goodness sake, they've even got gills this time around. The Zora have always (in the 3D games anyway) been humanoid. They're always going to have human characteristics. The designs add visual interest and have the potential to vary in future games (so that each Zora is slightly unique, for example. I can dream, right?).

I don't see how it makes the Zora look more human really...I don't imagine I'd ever mistake one for a human in a suit or anything. xD

I know this but you don't understand what i am trying to say, they look more like people. I would've liked it if they would've stayed the same. Thats all.

I still don't understand how they look more human in the TP version, because...they don't. They look equally human as the OoT version to me and I think if they had just kept them the same, it would have really detracted from the race. The OoT Zora were quite bland looking to be honest.

In their eyes which are not pitch black anymore. And in their facial features. just examine their face.

I think in terms of facial features, they just went in a more Ruto direction.

I really liked the stylization of the Zoras in TP to be honest. In OoT and MM they were fish people, which was pretty clear since they blatantly were designed to be marine humanoids. I'm not saying that it was bad, it was just pretty bland.

In TP, they added a lot more to their design...you still knew they were Zoras but they were much more stylized, and many more aspects of marine culture were added to them. Their fins (and bodies in general) are beautifully detailed.

I like the OoT Zoras better as well. They have a more striking presence. The TP Zoras all look pale and washed out.

I like the TP Zoras better overall but I wish their faces weren't so...humanlike.

The TP zoras look fine. It's just that their face really does not fit in with their overall aquatic structure.

This is what i am saying. TP was the first game to change the classic look of the Zoras. They changed Gorons for the better though. Heck, there wasn't even a Deku in TP.

Hmm I liked the TP look more. I understand that they look a little more human now but I didn't like how the OoT Zoras looked. I think it would have helped if TP Zoras were blue though, instead of a slightly more humanlike grey.

I like them both, but TP Zora's face and color just isn't right.

If your mad about human looking other races, don't worry a bout Zoras. Worry about Kokiris.
