Tough choice here. There's a lot of standouts, definitely, I...guess I'll just list these standouts!
Every dungeon in
LoZ bar the first few. The final one in particular is
awesome. It's so large and complex and really required you to properly navigate the maze it poses. There really isn't enough of that stuff these days...
For the same reason I also really liked Link's Awakening's final three dungeons a lot, too, especially Turtle Rock. I'd definitely say it's among the best dungeons in the series, if not the absolute best.
Oh, Turtle Rock and some others from A Link to the Past were also pretty cool in this way, but not quite up to the same level as LA's or
LoZ's.
Each one of Majora's Mask's dungeons sticks out, too, ALSO for that exact same reason, but it brought it in 3-d and used the three dimensions amazingly well, better than most 3-d games I've played. Only drawback was the low difficulty and monotony of items found : \ But even so, definitely some of the best dungeons in the series. The Water Temple from Ocarina's also in this category, what with huge, labyrinthine and amazing use of 3-d geometry.
I guess I have to mention Ocarina's Forst Temple, if only for the amazing atmosphere maintained throughout the entire level. And, hell, most of Ocarina's temples, for that matter. If any one of them didn't stand out in the gameplay perspective (which they all did, anyway...) then they all had amazing atmospheres, really second to none in the series.
That said, Ocarina's Temples (the first three dungeons not so much...) were all really well-built and cleverly designed, so they go on the list, too.
So ummm. I have all these, but...can't really decide. At all.
Sorry guys
