*WHINE*****GROAN*
Pols Voices, and maybe it would be a good way to utilize Wii Speak [Not Required to defeat them though.]

Re: What enemy needs to return?
Basically I agree with Dark Oni Link. I would love to see some new things, but would also love to see some older enemies. Some I'd like to see the same (maybe OoT ReDeads) and others I would like to see evolve greatly. Like poes, maybe...although the OoT ones were cute.
With this whole "tradition holding it back" thing...maybe it's just me, but I'd be really, REALLY upset if like everything in Zelda was new material. All new enemies, or characters, or something that drastic...yeah, I'd be really mad about that. Some traditions are what MAKE Zelda for me. Now, I'm not saying I don't want the series to change, because I do. But there are some aspects that make Zelda nostalgic for me that they've kept in a lot of the games, like some enemies, reoccurring characters, items, etc.

And technically, with the way they constantly redesign most of the enemies, they are indeed different, they just have the same names. With that being said, bring back Horsehead, now!! |

Re: What enemy needs to return?
Most definitely Moblins!
But instead of enemies, they would be a race, with their own culture. They seemed intelligent (well, you know what I mean) in TWW, about as intelligent as Deku Scrubs anyway, and I'd like to see more of their culture.

Iron Knuckles, this time with more health and larger axes.

Re: What enemy needs to return?
They're not enemies but i'd like to see my favorite bosses from every game return all in one.
LOZ: Aquamentus, first boss in the series, nuff said AOL: not really sure ALTTP: either arrghus or moldorm, just really fun yet challenging battles. LA: not really sure OOT: hmmmm, either king dodongo or gohma, there's just something about these two that i like alot! MM: Odolwa all the way! This guy is the best boss in the game! OOX: Again not really sure FS: Never played it WW: I'd say gohma but i already said him in another game, Molgera is one of the most fun in the entire game. FSA: Shadow Link, perfect antagonist MC: Gyorg, was very memorable. TP: I like most of them but i'd have to say...Stallord, i wouldn't mind morpheel though! PH: Gleeok or Eox, both were so much fun! |

Re: What enemy needs to return?
Octoroks sadly lost their 100% attendance in Zelda when TP didn't include them but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be in any more. I'd like them to include both land and water variations.
I would also like to see Zola both in water and on land. Iron Knuckles would be good to see again but I would like them to seem more threatening. Make them slightly faster, put them in a room with alot of stuff to destroy and make them able to loose sight of you which results in them randomly smashing everything to find you. Plus give them multiple weapons they can switch to from the axe to a slower but stronger hammer and a ball and chain. I would also like to see Moblins alongside Bublins. The only ones we have seen in 3D games are the ones in OoT (just that one area) and in Windwaker (which did a good job of their combat) Finally I would like to see Wizrobes again. Windwaker did an interesting take on it. |

Re: What enemy needs to return?
What he said.
People wanted a complete new storyline and formula, practically new everything because they thought OOT was to much like ALTTP/TP is like OOT. We can't just complain about a few things then want some things kept old. We need new everything if we're completely going to change Zelda for the better. If anything is coming back to the new games, completely change it so it's only noticed by it's main attributes. Otherwise, everything should be brand new and shiny.

Re: What enemy needs to return?
He is disappointing when you are expecting a creepy mysterious badass who doesn't flinch as he has command over everything, you don't expect him to turn into an infantile whiney jester, even if he goes insane

Re: What enemy needs to return?
Yeah, it's a real tragedy that they gave some personality to a character without any up to that point.
