Majora's mask fangame : in the making [Updates will happen weekly]

I have some very good news , but good news usually comes with bad news.

My good news is that I have managed to find most of my old Majora's Mask sprited resources , and am deciding to create a Majora's mask fan game , most probably entitled "Legend of Frances".

Some of you may already know the bad news.
My name used to be MagusAlexandros , and I was making a fan game with the exact same title , but my hardrive was corrupted , and I only managed to get a few of my resources back.

But , there is more good news topped over that.
My final good news is that I am better at spriting and such , so my skills at making games has been far improved.

If you don't believe me , and you think that I am joking , then I have some concept work for my game to prove it.



My clocktown that I completed in a day.
Don't worry ! not only was that part of Clocktown completed , but I also made some sprites that will go into the game , but I am not releasing any information until a week later.
My clocktown map may look a little sucky at the moment , but I am going to make it much better tomorrow.

I have been working hard on the music , the sprites , and some of the artworks that will go into the game.


Updates will appear occasionally , so don't be sad if I skip a week.


Anybody have any thoughts that they need to say?
Please criticize. I love criticism , as it helps the development process.

Ganondorf is raised by his grandmothers in the swamp , and finds out he is supposed to be king of a group of gerudo fisherwomen.

Evil fierce deity is searching for immortal power , which ganondorf has.

Note: Ganondorf is the good guy.

Don't worry... I am not stopping making this game.

Like I said , I am going to touch up clocktown a bit more in the future.
I must worry more about the sprites and things like that.

this looks good...but what about the to north clocktown behind the clock?

I have that covered.

When you walk behind the clocktower , the part of the tower that covers the entrance will dissappear.

Seems like a fair solution.

That clock looks horrible though. I don't think it's necessary to have the actual clock visable at all times.

How do you intend to do the music? Will you make your own, use the original or remix them?

King of pirates, lol. Seems to contradict the known MM background, but it could certainly be interesting.

The placeholder for his playable main character I would guess.

Don't worry. That was the default Character that came with the Rpg Maker 2003.

As you can see in the above pic , I made fierce deity link.
I am going to touch the character sprite up a bit though , to give it a better look.



Here is Princess Frances , the daughter of Igos Du Ikana .
As you can see , she has white hair.
The Ikanians are intended to be the parallel Sheikah race.

Also... I don't think I am going to add the clock into the game.
This is set at the time that that Clocktown was just being built.
When you go into the future , the world will be destroyed by the moon , so you won't see the clock either way.
The Clock will definitely be there at the end of the game.

Yeah and the colors are a bit awkward, plus you're missing a lot of details...

It need some work, but overall, I think it will be great!

Trust me , the colors will be dramatically different... as in.. BETTER! woo.

I have been a bit busy lately , but don't worry , because I have got all of Clocktown finished , including houses.
All I need to do is to make all the scripts , such as bank , time , etc.

The coloring is going to be amazing , and there will be stunning 2d graphics.

So the charater you control is FD Link?
This is looking great so far, I 'm looking forward to playing it when it is finished.

1. Mixing tiles/graphics is a no no.

2. RPG Maker is ****, doesn't fit Zelda.

3. You could be a little less lazy about the sprites, recolors are also a no no.

Can RPG actually make a Zelda game?
It thought it could only make "traditional" RPGs...
