Well I'm just asking...people can't see him as a girl, nor does he like ANY of the girls on Ocarina Of Time....so......its possible he was made to be gay....

Gay?! He has four love interest in OoT alone! The reason we never see him end up with anyone (aside from AoL and maybe OoX) is because Miyamoto wants us to decide who he ends up with.

In the majority of the games Link is only around 11-12 anyway. Too young really.


By the way, he's pretty chummy with Zelda in TMC

I'm sorry, have you never played Link's Awakening? Him and Marin totally had something going on. That's actually what made the game so great, because if they didn't it would not have been so hard for Link to actually wake up the Wind Fish. Link gets the girl, but only in dreams =0(

It may have been Nintendo's envisionment made for Link, but I don't see it that way.

I don't know how you interpreted his actions in the games as "running" from girls in even the slightest way. There's a big difference between running from girls and simply not making anything more of his relations to them.

I personally don't think OOT Link is gay. Its baffling to me how so many people continue to this day to either forget or ignore that when OOT Link is an adult, he still has the heart and mind of a pre adolescent boy. I mean it pretty much is undeniable canon that the only reason WHY OOT Link was sent back to the Child Timeline was because of the 7 years of lost maturity in the first place. But people continue to ignore this as usual and go with the fanfic interpretation of Link being sent back because Zelda told him that he had to go back to prevent the bad events from happening again.

Anyway, based on the more valid canonnical evidence of the game, I think its unfair to say that OOT Link is gay when we don't know how he would act as a normally matured adult. As for TP Link well....its easier to believe he is gay since he is supposed to be a normally matured teenage boy. But maybe he is just a generic soft spoken nice guy who is not very good at getting laid. I know 80's cartoon Link is not gay...thats for sure.

Link's interest in the ladies is hinted more heavily in some games than others. In OoT, i felt it was him and Zelda, in LA, Marin, In OoS, initially Din, but then Zelda again in the linked games, in WW definetly Tetra/Zelda, TP is a bit more difficult, but I'm thinking Ilia or Midna more than Zelda. And he was close with Zelda in TMC. But again, nothing is heavily implied, so its really all up to the player :3

umm no. It was clear he had feelings for Ilia. Plus there was Midna/Link eyebrow raising moments.

Link is not gay. You would have to be gay to believe in that cockery.

True..TP Link as a normally matured teenager did seem to have feelings for Ilia and Midna for sure. But there is no evidence he has ever gotten laid by either of them.

Thats just it...him not talking made me NOT relate to Link in anyway. I simply saw OOT Link as a pure hearted forest child who was not even remotely interested in romance with women even as an adult. TP Link just seemed to be a generic soft spoken nice guy who is not quite a ladies man.

I think the people who are seeing him as gay are gay and the ones that don't care or who think he is not gay are not gay just thought I toss that out at you
