IMO OOT Link to me is still just a pure hearted forest child in a mans body without question. But since its more popular to believe in the fanfiction theory that he was a fully matured man in heart and mind, you could say that maybe he is gay since he seemed more interested in Zelda as Sheik than he did when she was her normal feminine self

What does getting laid have to do with being straight? Guys can be not gay even if there is no sex. Anyways, it is very clear that Link is not gay. Him and Marin in LA, him and Zelda/Malon/Ruto/Saria in OoT and him and Midna/Ilia in TP... I could go on, but the evidence does not support a gay Link in the least!

While it's not beyond nintendo to have closet homosexual characters (Jeff from EarthBound was confirmed to be a homosexual), I don't think that's what was intended.

He doesn't exactly "run" from girls, and neither do homosexuals. He doesn't show anything that could be interpreted as flirtatious towards any male. As a matterof fact, he shows little emotion at all. Any "awkward" gestures made towards romantic interests are popular in child-friendly media, especially Japanese media. Didn't you ever watch a stupid anime as a child?

Anyway, I'd say his personality in general shows a quiet observer, with no real interest in sexuality, for the most part.

There were PLENTY of different Links. It's possible that one or two of them had the man cravings... but it's unlikely.

If you read my first post or better yet other posts in this forum you would understand I generally agree with you 100%. I think this whole Link is gay, into beastiality, or just likes to beat off a lot is nothing more than a silly joke I was simply going along with earlier. Honestly

OOT Link: All love interest hints in romance are fully one sided from the girls. Either way you can go on the avatar theory or the evidence of 7 years of lost maturity why Link isn't trying to get it on with Zelda, Ruto, or Malon. Outside of the Cremia hug there is no concrete evidence IMO. OOT Link seemed to be the ideal lonely social misfit who was essentially a pure hearted little boy who craves social acceptance and friendship a lot more than hints that he wanted realistic romance.

TP Link: IMO generic soft spoken nice guy who seems to let girls walk all over him. Put him in a modern high school scene, TP Link would be more of a socially introverted nerd and less of a manly sports jock or gangsta wanksta.

So no. I don't think TP Link or OOT Link are gay.

To be on topic, I don't think Link is gay in any of the zelda games. Pretty obvious actually, with all the girls around.

It's not really that people care-- Who CARES about any of the things we talk about? It's simply a plot point we're discussing, and you've just got your panties in a wad because it involves teh gay.

By acting like it's such a "taboo topic", you're only making it seem more odd and unacceptable. You're hurting the cause you're trying to promote. Just discuss if he could be homosexual or not, and leave it at that.

I like imagining he's bisexual. Leaves even more choices open :3

I personally see Link as asexual or a male with little interest in sex.
i see him more of a heterosexual person, Link is Miyamoto in many ways(Miyamoto has a wife and kids)

We all know he's bisexual, so just admit it already.
He fits so perfectly with people like Ilia and Malon, yet he also fits so perfectly with Dark Link

If you look closely in Ocarina of Time, Link blushes slightly when the combined form of Twinrova appears. With this in mind, he probably isn't gay.

Well, Ruto's like a fish with humanoid body, so I don't find that odd at all.
