Not true. There are nine doors and nine keys. Did you find the hidden key by climbing through the fake ceiling?

Re: Permanently Missable Items - A Guide

Theres some missable chests in OoT imn the ice arrows dungeon. If you use all the keys on only the left doors, you wont be able to get in the right door to get to 2 chests because the final key is in that door. You cant get the key to open the door, and you cant open the door to get the key, so your in a mess. xD
This happened to me, and I eventually had to glitch by bombchu hovering to the key(its on a platform in the lava pit room.)

Re: Permanently Missable Items - A Guide

Sorry I've been absent from this thread for so long. There's a lot that I want to add to it and different things that need updating in the original post.

Most of these recent suggestions are from The Wind Waker, and unfortunately my disc for that game is broken, meaning I can't test any of these suggestions out.

I'll keep you all updated when I can either fix that disc or obtain a new one.

(@Majora: I'm pretty sure all chests can be opened in the GTC if you find all nine keys?)

Re: Permanently Missable Items - A Guide

Well the thing is the ninth key is in the right door, and if you use up all the other 8 keys before opening/unlocking the right door, you cant get to and open the two chests inside. Sorry if this is confusing.

You can use a song of time block to get to that key.

1. There are only 7 locked doors on the left, so it's impossible to use 8 up before unlocking the right door.

2. The ninth key is through the left door, not the right, so it's not a problem anyway.

3. What Quin said.

Stone of agony. If your close to a secret hole, your controller rumble's. VC version has no rumble.

This confuses me. So paying 50 ruppees gives you a heart container while the other option is just a spare little heart to heal your damage?

No no no. The old man DEMANDS you give him either 50 rupees or a heart container (not just a heart, but an entire heart container!), or he will not let you pass through to the rest of the dungeon. It's annoying as hell, but at least he doesn't say "Grumble, grumble..." until you give him a random item.

Re: Permanently Missable Items - A Guide

About the two game ending glitches for twilight princess...

The first one I haven't seen substantial proof that the eldin bridge glitch even exists, but I did figure out a way to fix it or even if it did exist. it's a pretty complicated trick to do though. Video. The way you fix the "glitch" is by pressing the home button on the wii version and ejecting the game cd and re-inserting it so that it increases the time it takes for areas to load, then use that to go out of bounds with epona. Then, you do a few simple tricks to get on higher ground in south hyrule field, then do the trick where you constantly eject and re-insert the game while heading in the direction of lake hylia, but aim towards hyrule castle so that you're well out of bounds so that you can load up the lake hylia map without sinking on epona. Then you just try and get as high up as you can and force a few areas to load, and get to the midna barrier up by the northern end of hyrule.

The second game ending bug I believe can be fixed by loading the trapped save file on a fixed version of the game, which will allow you to warp the cannon and proceed onward in the game.

I hope this isnt to much of a necropsot, I just want to report a missing upgrade in Minish Cap, in the European version, you cant get the final upgrade for the bomb bag, the shop wont sell you the bigger bomb bag, and as far as I can tell, there is nothing you can do to make it available to buy.
