The Mystery of Ganondorf

I'm sure it has crossed all of our minds at one point. Where in the heck did Ganondorf come from? There are no Males in the Gerudo clan and if Ganondorf had a mom.....it makes you think that there might be.....nevermind....oh well what do you all think?

Re: The Mystery of Ganondorf

One of the gossip stones in OoT said that sometimes Gerudos come to town looking for men. So...they come in and have some fun with hylian men, and return home.

So that would be where Ganondorf came from.

Re: The Mystery of Ganondorf

Every 100 years a male Gerudo is born. Since there aren't any male gerudos, there are two theories as to where the "father" is from. Some believe that gerudos kidnap male human and....well you get the picture. And I believe it is happened in a ritual that can only be done every 100 years. (I have no proof of that, its just what I believe). And as for who is Ganondorf's monther, it is Twinrova.

Re: The Mystery of Ganondorf

Shouldn't the legend of 100 years a male become untrue, becasuse they breed with a Hylian so the probability of a a male should increase because Hylians have males a lot of times.

Re: The Mystery of Ganondorf

But if the Gerudos be'd nasty sickos and fooled around with Hylian men, wouldn't Ganondorf look like a Gerudo/Hylian (Gerodylain?).....Hmmmm this is an interesting subject that requires lots of research *Puts on Nerdy Harry Potter Glasses* Lets hit the Books

Re: The Mystery of Ganondorf

Well, if that theory is correct, then we dont know what a full blooded Gerudo man looks like. So, yes, Ganondorf could be a "Gerodylain", and we would never know the difference.

Re: The Mystery of Ganondorf

It's odd isn't it. How come Ganondorf and Twinrova has green skin too? I always thought that the Gerudo looked Asian in appearence, and had tan or olive skin. Where did the green pigment come from?

Re: The Mystery of Ganondorf

green skin? probably from twinrova's evil magic!

yeah it could just mean gerudo's go get boyfriends and get kids,
so all kids would be daughters! only one gerudo man is born in a century!

Re: The Mystery of Ganondorf

To answer DecaChild's question - Ganondorf trained in the desert as a warlock and allowed the darkness of the desert to become part of his being. it is possible that this long isolation led to his lust for power and desire to eradicate all happiness from Hyrule. I suppose everyone in Hyrule CAN use magic, it's just that many of them lack the desire to.

To support my warlock theory, just look at the names of his moves on SSBM (Warlock Punch, etc.)

Re: The Mystery of Ganondorf

Well the Geurdoes can have kids it's just that even if they do have kids it will usually be a girl. Then every 100 years a new Ganon will come... or something like that. For all we know Twinrova could be the mother of every.... no that won't work....plus its wrong to.... though it still is just a game, it has its own twisted logics. They might not even reproduce like we do for all we know they might have to stick their finger up their noses and a baby will pop out of their ears.

Re: The Mystery of Ganondorf

Yeah, you know they had to have edited some of the dialogue from the japanese version, for all we know they might have some freakish way of having kids not revealed in the English versions. She could have spawned every Evil Gerudo king for centuries...scary thought...ooh bad images...

Re: The Mystery of Ganondorf

I'd always thought the answer was obvious: the Gerudo King keeps the race going, & the reason that you don't see Ganondorf's dad is because he's dead (after all- only one male born every hundred years...the guy'd be getting on by the time his son got to be the age he looked in OoT) .
