Favourite Zelda Game

MM for me. It was identical to OoT in terms of game play, obviously, but it was so much more original and darker than any title released yet.

it was the first truly immersive Zelda game for me and it just blew my mind when it came out...i still love it and i stand firmly on this: that a Zelda hasnt been released yet that comes close for me!

My favorite is still definitely Oot, but windwaker comes in tied for second with majora's mask. Majora's mask was a great game but i think i prefered the gameplay of windwaker more. i am still so fond of the old n64 graphics i love it. it always makes me feel nostalgic twilight princess is in there too. difinitely one of my more liked zelda games but i think i prefered windwaker to twilight princess. TP was a great game though

Majora's Mask, hands down, no contest.
The 3 day watchadoody added too much depth. Too much to not be considered the best zelda game ever, by far.

Yeah but notice how the game is shorter than Oot. Oot did not have a time limit so it was easier to have the longer gameplay. It could have had more sidequests, like MM, but I still think overall Oot was and is much better..

Not all the games are available to vote. It seems this poll will be inaccurate and pointless.

Another one of these threads, and Ocarina of Time is ahead already as usual.

It's a fun game to play and it has an amazing storyline. That's all you really need IMO.

I can't decide. ALttP is my favorite from my childhood, and MM is my favorite Zelda game that I've played over the last few years. between the two of them, it's a toss-up - ALttP has the classic feel to it; the same good ole save-the-Princess story, and...geez...was made of win all over. MM has the best character development out of any Zelda I've played...but also breaks away from nearly everything that is nostalgic to me. it's still made of win on its own, I'd say moreso than ALttP even, but Zelda is mostly about nostalgia for me now...so it doesn't quite do the job.
...so, each of these two kinda fill their own niche for me. I can't vote.

I'm going to make this easy and vote for the first Zelda game I played ALTTP.

OoT was the first ever (or possibly second, if GoldenEye was the first) video game I played, way back when I was like 8 years old. And I have loved it ever since.

(I would love to play all of them though. I haven't gotten the chance to play more than 3 yet.)

I've played all of them except the first two (LoZ and AoL) and FS. I've only played LA very briefly though, due to my used copies being screwed up. If I were to list the ones I have played in the order I favor them, it'd be this.

2. ALttP
3. FSA
4. OoS/OoA
5. PH
6. OoT
7. MM
8. TWW

Bashing me for what I have as my three least favorites will do no one no good because my opinion stands.

Anyways, it's a no contest - MM is superior here.

Telma's cat. She was awesome for a simple pet She robbed someone and helped you get to Zelda as a wolf. Louise robbed someone in order to help you get Ilia's memory back. She definitely had the greatest role of any animal character in a Zelda game as far as I know.

LA is the one I currently like the most

I like MM very much as well however I played LA before playing MM

I have played ALttP the most probably because I let somone borrow MM and someone borrow OoT and they have not been returned to me yet (though I did get another OoT game) and I do not have LA OoA or OoS

Ocarina of time is without a doubt the best zelda game ever. I was 9 when we first got it. The first games we had were oot and turok: dinosaur hunter. I have played almot every zelda game( haven't played the handheld ones except Link's awakining and PHG), and none of them come close to being as good as oot.

I hope OOT,MM and WW thrash TP!!

I know that sometimes this game gets some flack, but I think Majora's Mask was my favorite game, and all of the different masks added a LOT of fun to the game!

Well I think both OoT and MM are the best games Ive ever played.
I just finished rebeating Oot and then just finished beating MM for the first time a few days ago.
Those two games together are absolutely mind-blowing.
