Dark Link Vs. Oni Link

I like the design of Oni Link but in MM i didnt like him that much, i dont know why.

The poll is almost tied between the both. The numbers are really close to each other, there isnt a big difference in the numbers everytime more and more people vote on it.

3-point lead for Oni Link HECKYEAH. But you're right, the difference is minimal.

If the Hero of Time somehow met Ganondorf again after MM, Fierce Deity's mask will make him cry.

Acctually I have seen him. I have AR and I have the code Dark Link. He looks Bada**. If they had a code for oni-link then I would like to see that too.

Only way i know to see Oni-Link outside Boss chambers is with a NTSC version of the game or Gameshark.

I prefer the look of Oni Link than Shadow Link only because Oni doesn't follow your every move and doesn't look sinister evil.

If you are referring to the Kafei method of using FD's mask outside of boss rooms, there are other ways that allows using it on the First Day. Here:

That is showing on the GC version (red sword icon) so it should be working on any.

I'd pick Oni-Link over Dark Link. He's a god, still has alot to be explored about him. And he isn't a "Link", he's the soul of a god/demi-god. I think Oni is alot cooler than Dark Link.

Fierce Deity Link is much better than Dark Link. DL had a minimal role in the Water Temple, and was easily beaten, either using Din's Fire or by stabbing him (did anyone else notice this? The mirror of Link couldn't stab). FD Link, on the other hand, makes extremely short work of Majora, another embodiment of dark power.

Oni Link is sweet, I have his mask too. XD (It took me days to get all those stupid happy masks.)

They both look really sweet! I say Oni Link though because hes really powerful and I like the design

I dislike both of 'em. I don't get why people say "But they are so bad-ass!!!". I think they are silly and overrated. I don't like that people think you should be able to play as dark link/oni link in the next Zelda games either. I just want regular Link!

Dark Link ftw! He seems to have a lot more depth that I can think of in comparison to Oni. Okay here's how I see it...

Oni is really powerful, being a god and what not. But really he's trapped in a mask. The only time he could really do anything is if Link was wearing the mask. The most that I ever see him doing is penetrating Link's mind and trying to take control of it. But in the end I think that Link would somehow win and Oni would never be worn again. (thus falling into the same dangerous mask category as Majora)

Dark, on the other hand, I see as being complex and troubled. He's Link's shadow (or Link's darkness brought to life if you'd prefer to see it as a balancing act), that means that he'll forever be plagued by Link! Dark would probably be so similar to Link in certain ways. He'll go on quests because it's Link's/his nature to help people (though he probably won't do much helping).

What if Dark doesn't even want to be evil? What if he wants to be a pastry chef at the palace? Or work at Lon Lon Ranch? But he's so blundering (the same way I think Link would tend to be, except in Link's case it all works out) that he ruins everything he tries to do?

Anyway that was long winded....

I like them both. They both have mystery surrounding them and are not full developed.Each have powers that Link may or may not have. If they would expand on them at all though, I wouls want to find out more about Oni Link because I think his back story would have more depth in it.

I don't like the way fierce deity looks, he's too colorful.

Dark Link sounds awesome when he yells, better than normal Link.

In a fight, I'm not sure who would win. FD has that long sword.

Dark Link is cooler, he could simply get a Fierce Diety's Mask. That would look really cool, Dark Fierce Diety Link

Oni link for sure. I hate dark link.
