Personaly I found AoL to be the hardest. The sword was too short was probably the biggest problem I had with it. I tired and tried but no matter what I always had an extrealy difficult time with the Iron Knuckles, or Darknuts, I forget which ones where in it.
I don't get why so many people think Ocarina of Time was so hard. I mean it's probably the hardest out of what I have played but it's not THAT hard. I think the only really hard part was the water temple. Other than that everything is pretty straight forward. You get navi *****ing at you ever five seconds telling you where to go. Most of the dungeons aren't the most challenging. I do admit that I was stuck on the sand... temple place for a long time, but meh. Other than a couple dungeons I found it quite easy. Either I'm just good at these things are everyone is focusing on one thing and expanding it out of the box.
AoL...nothing else can compare. I blew a whole summer trying to beat that stupid game. The temples were freakishly hard, and the enemies were practically invincible. You think having to go back in time in MM sucked? How about having 3 lives and only 7 1-ups in the entire game that you can only get ONCE? If you game over, say, at the final dungeon, you have to start ALL the way back at Zelda's resting place, which is at the other side of Hyrule. *shudders*
Yeah I definitely though AoL was harder than OoT. I wasn't quite in the mood anyways but I gave up after five minutes because I didn't know where the hell I was supposed to ****ing go! Seriously. =.=
Navi not so bad after all?
I don't get why so many people think Majoras Mask was so hard. I mean it's probably the hardest out of what I have played but it's not THAT hard. I think the only really hard part was the water temple. Other than that everything is pretty straight forward. You get navi *****ing at you ever five seconds telling you where to go. Well I think Majora was hardest for me becuse of some of the challenges. for instance, One of the things that was hard for me was the part of the game where you have to basicly "ROLE" over a thin ice path as a goron.
Not to mention doing everything needed in a 3 day cycle. I know I had to reset in at least one of the Temples.
Well, I guess I would go with my answer in the similar thread over here.
I've played through all Zelda games and the toughest was definitely the 2nd Quest of the first Zelda game on the NES. This one was absolutely insane. Note, I'm talking about the 2nd Quest, the one where you have to beat the normal game once or enter ZELDA as your name to access it, not the 1st Quest, which isn't so hard.
The whole thing is followed by Zelda II, however difficulty in this game only relies on enemies, no tough secrets or puzzles to go with.
Well, and then we have Master Quest, Oracle of Ages (the Hero's Cave) and Majora's Mask in that order.
I'd just like to note for everyone who had such a hard time with the 3 day cycle, it is possible to beat the game in teo cycles, the first being of course the 3 days requied to get the OoT and be made normal again.
I actually found AoL easy, although I have played through it a few times and know all the secrets.
I can't single out one game as the hardest, but I do thinl there are certain factors/sections of certain games that make them harder than others:
-LoZ for the navigation (finding your way around and actually finding where everything is and where you need to go next), although this doesn't apply to me since I cheat and use a map .
-AoL is hard until you get past Death Mountain (which is fairly early in the game).
-ALttP is one of those 'hard the first time you play it' games
-OoT MQ is difficult because it is meant to be, so it is. Don't argue.
-MM I'd say has the hardest bosses,Gyorg (spl?) in particular.
-OoA I always find hard because of the blasted Goron dance.
-TWW, the triforce quest can be a stumbling block
-TRR can be difficult if you mess up on the negotiations, which results in you not having enough rupees to advance in the game, meaning it is then difficult (and dull) to collect the rupees you need to continue.
Surely however, the hardest game has to be FS (suprisingly, not on the poll), since it is damn near impossible to find anyone to play with .
Sig made by me.
Tingle, Tingle, Kooloo-Limpah! (Tingle invented these words himself. Do not steal them).
