Unhappy A Little Help Please?

Okay. I downloaded an emulator so that I could play OoT again and I couldn't press more than two buttons at one time. (For example, I tried using my shield, Z targeting, and strafing, but he wouldn't move, making it nigh impossible to fight with my style and making it absolutely impossible to do any glitches that I were looking forward to. I tried fiddling with the control settings, and nothing worked! I'm so exasperated! Any help?

I'm not sure if you can talk about emulators here, but you DO own the game, so it's not that bad.I only emulate games that i actually own. any way... what emulator are you using? I suggest if your not using Project 64 to get it.

Talk about Emulators is legal (ROM is illegal). But I'm not sure if you've crossed the line here... oh well, a mod will see this soon and judge for him/herself.

Yes, I recommend Project 64 (emulator, not ROM, so I'm still in the legal). In any case, even if you are using Project 64, your problem is in the emulator, and not in the ROM. And probably not in your computer.

Working an emulator necessitates having a ROM to work it with. You could talk about using ROMs that are not copyright protected, if they exist, but even that might be illegal given the circumvention language of the DMCA. I usually just play it safe and call it illegal when in doubt.

But it's illegal whether or not you own the game.

And, like stated, we don't discuss how to work emulators and ROMs here because of legal purposes. We will talk about them, but not how to work one.

But if we were allowed to discuss this sort of thing, I might suggest trying another emulator; there are many out there. Good luck.
