Re: fav location of any zelda game

OOT?...you barely can see the castle by the inside...what about the WW Hyrule Castle...that was just amazing...especially when it was black and white and the time was frozen...

Oh I agree with you Final. The castle in the WW was awesome, and I really loved the song in the castle

Re: fav location of any zelda game

Quote from EGM, Issue 175: Top 15 games of the millenium, with Zelda at number 1.

Quote:
Ultimate Moment:

In Wind Waker, it has to be your first visit to Hyrule Castle, which is on the ocean floor, frozen in time. Everything is black and white, with statue-like guards caught in midarmpit scratch. It's one of the eeriest moments in any game we've ever played. And then you pull the Master Sword from the stone, time starts ticking again, and all hell breaks loose....
That's why WW Hyrule Castle is awesome.

Ocarina Of Time: Lake Hylia
Majora's Mask: Great Bay
Wind Waker: Outset Island

They're all very relaxing and calm. A nice getaway from it all kind of place.

Re: fav location of any zelda game

Well, since TWW is the only Zelda game I have managed to make it far in, since it is the only one I have EXTENSIVELY played, I would have to say Dragon Roost. It IS my favorite island, after all. But Hyrule Castle when it is frozen in time is also very, very awsome.

Re: fav location of any zelda game

I find the castle in TWW very depressing, its a cool area, but The Hero of Time is dead and no one knows what happened to him or how Ganon escaped. I like the Forest in Oot best, its Link's home.

I will say that the Castle in Wind Waker was awesome. But my favorite place, by far, is Dragon Roost Island. I like the cliffs, and the amazing views, and I love the music!

Re: fav location of any zelda game

In OoT, I really like Kakariko Village and the Kokiri Forest. I also like Lake Hylia.

In MM, I like Clock Town and Snowhead and the Goron Shrine.

In WW, I like Outset Island and Windfall Island, as well as the island where the Deku Tree is (can't remember the name of the island...).

Re: fav location of any zelda game

the Kokiri Forest is my favorite, but i guess thats understandable because in LOTR the Shire is my favourite and in FFCC Tipa is my favorite

for some strange reason i find their starting towns to be my favorite sites. just somehow these places seem to represent the good that the heroes are fighting for, and me being a defender of all that is righteous myself i feel drawn and attached to these places. That and I love green.
