No but they may be able to send some kind of rep to back you up in a meeting with nintendo to get the rights, that is if they like the idea enough and think it will sale. Nintendo is much more likely to listen to Paramount or MGM then just some random zelda fan.

Touche, get the backing up by Hollywood, then go to Nintendo.
Oh and by the way, you forgot Tri-Star(lol at the title in comparison to Triforce), Columbia Pictures, and Lucasfilm (wrong direction lol)

Oh dear lord no Lucas. George and Stephen need to stay away from this, lest they remake it a decade down the line with unneeded special effects

XD Hilarious

I'm not sure who the best director would be for such an epic undertaking. Peter Jackson comes to mind, he's pretty good with fantasy considering The Lord Of The Rings.

Well he would have to play the game to really get where my script is coming from, many directors read books for adaptations, never seen a director playing a game before! xD

I just hope that Hollywood doens't ♥♥♥♥ it up and make a whole bunch of changes that I DIDN'T WANT TO SEE HAPPEN, small changes sure, but a Hollywood rank change? Nuh-uh! As long as they stay to the script made by a die-hard fan and go from there they're good! The more they stray the worse it'll get.

Pleasing fans is never one of hollywoods fortes really. But we may get lucky. Worse comes to worse we get a cult classic like the mario bros movie.

Which is my one fear with pitching it.

Firefly is a cult classic. Mario Bros is not. It's classically bad... like escape from new york, but it is not a cult classic. It was a terrible movie!

Mario bros is a total classic with nintendo fans. Who doesn't like how bad it is? But that's off topic so let's move back to the Zelda movie

Hylianpwnage: We could say he was hiding in Link's shadow ever since he woke up. Ganondorf only now made him act because he realized that Link might actually have a chance. He'd probably face Link two times and Link gets his ass kicked. The third time Link faces him right before the final battle with ganny and he finally defeats him.

I must agree to disagree, Dark Link I think is much cooler in a pysical body then as a shadow.

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume III

No he would be hiding in his shadow like in AOL. Then when he attacks him Link's shadow splits in two and the one rises up while becoming three dimensional.

I like it! But yeah, Dark Link's appearence is based saved for a One-Time-Appearence out of nowhere. For example, Link is wondering and out of nowhere he turns around and sees Dark Link standing armed.

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume III

How should Dark Link be characterized in the movie?? Should he just be a shadow entity that never speaks and is just in the movie for the sole purpose to fight Link? Or should he be given a personality that is the opposite of Link's good guy personality and who has possession of Link to make him do bad things? For example maybe he would make good guy Link do something that is out of character, such as be rude and obnoxious to Zelda or he would shatter the ocarina into pieces right in front of Zelda and make her upset with his DARK and bad behavior.

But whether Dark Link is a separate entity or just the dark side of Link's inner soul is fine by me.

I prefer the one time silent baddy myself, given his role in OoT.

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume III

I'll say just a few things.

If someone is doing sequels...
and we all know we can't just keep using Ganondorf for them all...
I'd rather have Dark Link as one of the main villains for the sequels...
Than... someone not so cool - ...like Zant or Vaati.

I'd feel the butter was spread over too much bread if it lead to that.

And I don't know about you guys, but there is only so many times you can
climax a film with 'epic battle' at the end. That's why I think maybe Dark Link would
about friends fighting in the end, oppose to Ganondorf, who is a true evil.

As long as there is contrast...

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume III

Once there is a stone cold time line established (yea right), then I wouldn't mind seeing Dark link as a main villian considering his role in AoL. But even then, I really just see him as the villian that appears only at the end of the movie, unexpected like.

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume III

ganon: I actually like the idea of him speaking. He'd probably be voiced by Link's actor(though his voice is distorted to sound more evil). Think Darth Maul in that he won't speak much and will be a rather mysterious villian. Although Link should fight him twice. The first time he gets his butt kicked. The second time Link finally realizes how to defeat himself and thus increases in strength because he kn0ws what his weakness is and how to counter it.
