Masterthesword, there is nothing to think about, Link would have to talk in the movie. You can't have a serious movie in which the main charactor doesnt talk for no reason.

What might Link sound like?
A naive boy I imagine. Something like... - Luke Skywalker - Marty McFly - Peter Pan mix of those. It's important to realize he is just a boy, and through this we appeal, rather than being so much of a 'wow' character that we couldn't...

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume III
If it has young link, the voice should be of a child, obviously. If it's an adult link, the voice should be way more masculine. Not at all like the cartoon series

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume III
While I agree he needs something more mature then the cartoon, I don't know if "masculine" is the right word for it. I think he should have a gentle, but strong voice, so he doesn't seem like an 8 yo, but at the same time he doesn't sound like he should be the govenor of Calefornia.

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume III
I don't mean masculine like Arnold, but kinda like how leon sounded in RE4.
On a side note, they could make amazing LotR-esque battles!

He looked cool in a joke imagine what he'll be like in a real budget movie. I think if you have enough money you can get an awesome costume that would look so cool. I don't think that having link leading an army into battle would be that good though. He normally fights on his own. maybe if he started in the army and got separated that would be cool but he shouldn't lead the troops.

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume III
As anyone who was around the last thread knows, I realy dislike the idea of live action. I am in full support of a CGI movie because I think the costumes would look quite odd. However, having said that, I must admit that the IGN trailer looked alot better then I thought it would. So I guess that means that a real movie could pull it off. This is why the great debate about it stopped, so let's leave it that way.

WTF Matty boy?! I never knew you were a CGI'ist! / Anti-live actionist! Heart broken now. I'll say it once, and I'll say it again. Adam west, batman - fail Christian Bale, batman - win Fan Film and Ign trailers - fail Live action film - win? All it takes is to broaden your imagination past what you've seen already, and trust that there is people talented enough in the industry to pull it off. PS. For anyone that rekcons that the IGN was pretty big budget, and that's all we have to hope for, think again. A few guys and girls, a camera, their father who composed for him, and the fella himself, who did CGI all his life.

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume III
Ferg, do you not remember all the time we spent debating this? My first post on the boards was about this
.And yes, Bale looked better then West, but I still thouyght that the costume seemed realy awkward and out of place. All the batmans did, just like alot of costumeed heros. Save for the ones done in CGI.

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume III
CGI is a dumb idea. I agree that the monsters will have to be CGI but the story line can be Human. The LotR did a good job of that. the huge fight scenes were mostly Computer graphics. I hope that Nintendo (if they do ever make a movie) doesn't try to make a kids movie. Some serious books have been made into kids movies and I don't want to see that happen.

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume III
Oops forgot to post idea about plot.
Maybe Link travels from a distant land and stumbles upon a group of bandits. He hasn't learned to fight yet so is saved by a man (name not determined) who becomes his mentor. like Rusl Then he is trained and we learn of a prophecy telling of a boy like him. Wat do u guys think?
