Maybe its better if there isnt ever an official timeline...

Sorry, this doesnt have much relevance to the message board but I just had to say it.

I have seen quite a few people (on other message boards, and irl) complaining that there is no official timeline, But personally I love it that there is no timeline. It lets you speculate for hours on end about the endless possibilities of the entire story of Zelda. And half the people complaining that there is no official timeline, I can just imagine them complaining if an official timeline ever came out because 'Something didnt make sense' or because 'They didnt agree with it'.

Feel free to lock this, move it or delete it or whatever you want. Just had to say this.

What would Zelda be with a timeline? Think of all the wonderful debates we have all had. If there was an official timeline, that would suck. Seriously, I love theorizing about timelines. Thanks for saying it T-N.

^^^There can be connections, yes, but I also think it would be better to not have an official Zelda timeline...ever...

I dont think that there should ever be an official timeline ever made, but i think miyamoto should plan a story for a number of zelda games so that the series can still continue the legacy if he ever retires or dies. (he is the magic that makes the game happen.) I do think that there should be new games that fill in any missing parts in the timeline though so that although there wont be an official timeline, there will be a complete story eventually. (hopefully many many more games to come!)

I agree to never having official timelines, but as for the "great debates" those tend to degenerate into quote/flame fests. (a quote fest is where you quote part of a person's post and try to prove it wrong, then they quote part of your post, and then you quote part of thiers...)

Change becomes a great thing sometimes, and some have to accept it.
