if you think there is a timeline, what do you suppose happens to the temple in between games?
do you think that the arbiters grounds is the spirit temple???
where is the shadow temple in Twilight princess? who knows?!?
I'd like you to get real down'n'dirty on what you like about temple and
NOT WHAT YOU THINK IS THE BEST OR THE WORST, theres another thread for that
for example: I heard it was briefly considered to make Oot a "T" game becuase of the torture posts' and blood in the shadow temple and how ganon coughs blood( later changed to green in 1.2 i think, along with fire temple music and gerudo symbol).
or maybe:
is the lakebed temple the water temple from Oot?

There is evidence that supports spirit temple being arbiter's grounds. For one thing, it's in the gerudo desert and secondly, it has a mirror at the top, possibly reffering to the mirrors found in spirit temple.

I believe the forest temple , goron mines and lakebed temple all have obvious counterparts in OoT.

Snowpeak ruins, however, baffles me. Possibly an homage to the ice cave in OoT?

interesting....i thought that too, but i also thought shadow( although its in the desert??) becuase it is a "prison and excecution ground"

Would not the shadow temple be in the graveyard behind the secret village aka old Kakariko

what i would have done with zelda is give a hint as to what happened to them...not like you can actually revisit them, but for example:
"that old temple in the graveyard is centuries old. Noones been inside for ages, and part of it has collapsed(most of it).I guess you could take a look around, but lots of evil still remains inside."
and you could have the entrance boarded up or something

I'd love to see shadow temple with current-gen hardware. That'd be sick!

Maybe because the resting place of the master sword was in the woods in Alttp?

Deku tree

Jabu-Jabu's belly

Fire temple

spirit temple

woodfall temple

snowhead temple

great bay temple

stone-tower temple

Ganon's Tower

to return temples like snowhead, great bay temple, stone tower temple and woodfall nintendo would have to release another MM, following up on the salesman, for some reason still in termina. or maybe it takes place centuries after? now that would be a crazy timeline, if there is one.

A remade current-gen oot that would rule.

Well I think that Arbiter's Grounds is the Spirit Temple for evidence stated above.

do you think that it is the spirit temple redone and refurbished because the gerudo were chased out of hyrule (esplainin' why there are no gerudo) and they tore down the shadow temple cuz it is outdated, used a long time ago, too hard to get to(old kakariko, which means it also may have just been forgoten) and just not needed any more?

My thoughts?
I think it's called Legend of Zelda for a reason. Every game is a different legend, each legend is a different story involving Link and Zelda. There is no time line inbetween games (except Majora's Mask and OoT) since they all take place in some different world or something.
That's what I think.
@IkanaGeneral- Snowpeak Mountains is possibly based off of Snowhead Temple/ Goron Village(covered in snow)
