What kind of enemy do you want Link to fight?

I would like Link to fight an enemy where you can't tell where the weak spot it while the enemy is introduced. It just makes Boss Battles so easy when they should be hard.

I'd like an enemy that doesn't have a weak spot but needs brute force and fighting strategy to take down, something like the stalfoses.

Something like a swordsman of Link's skill, maybe a rival from his hometown or a jealous kid who hates him? Not like Dark Link, or any fights like that, just an awesome 1v1 match against another real human for once. [Didn't say Hylian in case of the game being in another land]. Lots of parrys and stuff like that.

If we are going to upgrade, Link deserves an upgrade too.

A giant monster that can apear and reapear with a giant sword and can change shape and last but not least it can throw bombs.

He needs to fight a medival Batman.

i would want link to fight a boss thats either super big or small with great strength like an enemy thats huge like the forest temple boss on TP but something that would take more skill and a bit longer or atleast were you have to do more to defeat it or move around more or something!!! and a smaller boss would just be new (and not like a mini boss either) a boss boss (and not like Minish Cap were small things suddenly become bosses just a smaller more mobile boss (like dark link but stronger and theres more to beating him)=)

I'd like an enemy with no weakness. Just a lot of health and who is fast. That's what I consider epic.

I would like to see him fighting another person that is not a monster or beast, but another human being that is just as skilled and as superior as him.

I enjoyed fighting the rebel Gerudo woman in OoT when Link sneaked in to free the carpenters. That was something fresh than the usual monster and squid looking things all the time.

I guess I just want enemies that put up a fight. Not, you hit them a couple of times with your sword and that's it.

Also, enemies later on should do more damage to link. Cause if you're at 15 hearts while fighting enemies whose attacks do half a heart of damage, there is ZERO challenge whatsoever.

I hope the next zelda is harder than the last few...

I want there to be a skeleton version of all the enemies!!!! that would be badass!!! and to defeat them you don't need bombs.........

there should be more flyer enemies. Twilight Princess did a brilliant job with the Aeralfos but wished the weakness wasn't so obvious....

also zelda needs more massive animal like enemies roaming Hyrule Field like Helmasaurus in City in the Sky temple and Big Dodongos

I completely agree if there were large creatures out on the field it would make it so much more fun to travel and you wouldnt have to go temple to temple just to find a worthy opponent and to add one, Big Babas out on the field EPIC

Yeah, imagine the dodongos in the next game being as big as king dodongo from OoT. That would be amazing!

On a more serious note, I want enemies that actually fight back and require skill to defeat.

I'd like to battle a harder version of Dark Link, a human foe or a Fire Emblem villian.
But I'd also Link to kill Tingle.

Hmmm....well, if you think about it, if they changed the current formula, it just wouldn't be Zelda. But, if I were to dream of something greater, I would love to go in the direction of human/creature battles that are not only more realistic, but challenging as well. Something like a battle system that contained blocks, deflections, and reversals would be great. Maybe more hand-to-hand combat that is mixed in with the weaponry.

Ever picture Link going up against a ninja-like enemy? Where the ninja has all the advantages of training, while Link only has his glowing stick? I would like to be placed in the constant situation where you have to think to survive, not just smash the "B" button.

He have fighted ninja-like enemies... Garo and Master Garo in MM.

I have always liked the idea of a man/woman who is very similar to Link, to join Ganondorf.
Kind of like an apprentice.

That way, we could have a proper battle between equals, and perhaps some emotion could come into the battle. Once best friends or something.

Or just many giant epic looking creatures with massive weapons and loads of health that do 8 hearts.

Both work for me.

And to agree with Eternal Legend, we need more woman warriors.
