But all of the Gerudo woman are normally "tanned." They aren't green.

However, Ganondorf is slightly different.

Ganondorf has green pigment to his skin. Some could believe that his people, the Gerudo, are based off of real people from the Middle East and/or Mayas.

It's not really green but more of a tan because he's from the desert

I'd say he's got green skin, plus, green goes better with the orange hair xD

He is tanned. And well tanned at that.

Well since he can turn into a horrific beast, wouldn't the pigmentation of such a monster rub off on his human transformation?

The color you guys are discussing is none other than "olive".

It depends on the lighting and that goes for all the Zeldas he's in. If it's dark he looks green...if it's bright he looks brown...that's all there is to it. =\

To all who say "He's tan, he comes from the desert." May I remind you that Kotake and Koume are also of the desert and they are both pretty green.

Also, if Ganon were indeed meant to be 'tan' why would they not depict him as precisely the same colour as the Gerudo women in game?

If you cant decide what color he is, just settle with "Brown-green" (if that's even a color), although I think Sparty was right with olive.

How can we explain the "green" tinge in Zelda's hair? Not only is it blonde, but there is definately some green shades in the hair...

At his most recent Ganondorf is extremely dark green.

According to Nintendo, the greenish tinge represents evil.

Gerudo wise at least.

I have always wondered...

If you look closely at a Gerudo woman in first person view, you can see green on the dark areas of their skin, mostly near where their clothes and their skins connect.

We don't have any high quality textures of Gerudo women, and we may never.
So don't put much thought into it. I think it was meant to be shadow.

Well, I've played all the versions of OoT(grey cart, gold cart, GC Collectors, Master Quest, Wii VC), and the only green I remember seeing was the green version of the blood Ganon coughs up when killed.

Brownish tan.

He is green in Brawl, but not as dark as he was in TP.
