Which graphics do you prefer?

Here is a good poll. Which style graphics do you prefere, the original 2D like on the nes, snes, and gameboy; 3D like on the N64 games; or cell like WW?

I prefere 3D but thats just me.

Oh, and cel-shading is just a method of rendering, lighting, and texturing. It's still all three-dimentional. I do prefer the more realistic look of Ocarina of Time, but I admit that The Wind Waker would have never worked properly had it used the same graphical style. It tends to grow on you.

I'd probably go with 3d. Cell shading is fine too, but I do wish they continue with 3d zelda games.

Cel-shading, definitely. It seems that everything is more clear with the cartoony graphics...It also makes explosions look cool..

What about 2-d cell shading like in four swords +?

I love cel-shading, ever since I played sonic shuffle, that game looked great. Sure, the actuall game sucked a$$, but the graphics were good, and cel-shaded!

So if you haven't taken the hint by now, I like cel-shaded graphics.

That's not Cel-shading. The Sprites just look more vibrant and like a cartoon than in other 2d games.

I really don't care what the game looks like; as long as it delivers in gameplay and story, legnth and challenge. So OoT was just fine with it's style, that wouldn't have fit at all in TWW, but iw ould never want OoT to look like TWW. It all has to balnce out and so far everyhting has balanced out very well.

I like the 'toon-shading' the best so far, though I would like to see a realistic 3-D Zelda game, and I also think that the thing Nintendo should do for 3-D Zelda games is combine 'toon-shading' and realistic 3-D graphics, sort of like in the Hulk video game.

i just chose cell because it was a cool change. it also looked cool. yeah, i probably like it best anyway

I like cell shading. It looks more cartoony and brings out the innocence of zelda. Although 3d would be sweetish, it strikes me as being to serious and dark.

I don't mind the cel-shaded graphics of WW because they were great, but I just prefer the 3-D style the best. It made views such as a sunset on Lake Hylia more spectacular.

I like Cell Shading. Everything is more clearer and the fire looks pretty cool. But to tell you the truth I didn't like it at first but as I played the game I seemed to like it more and more.

there's no doubt that cel-shading was very smooth and crisp, but there's just something about the cartooniness of cel-shaded environments that made playing TWW not as beautiful as OoT or MM.

Hm, Thats a tough one. I dont really prefer one, I used to prefer 3d, but as I played Windwaker I sort of grew on it, Its much clearer and easier to see a characters emotion when its in Cel Shaded. But im used to 3d due to OoT and MM. I like both of them equally, But if I had to choose one, I suppose I would choose Celshading due to the clarity.

At first I was angry with the WW cell shading, but it grows on you.

I most definatly have to go with 3d cause it just makes you seem like your more in the game, just watching from a secret window...it just makes the game that much better...

Well, people who had seen cel-shading before TWW will probably love it. People who play only 3D games before TWW will probably like 3D better.

It all depends on what games you have played. And about the 2D Cel-Shading, there is no such thing. Like said, it is not cel-shading, it is just a cartoony look for the game, and has no relation to cel-shading at all.
