Honestly, I don't see how you figure that.

You really only have the arrows and Din's Fire when it comes to the 3d games.

The 2d games certainly feature more varied magic items.

The arrows are generally useless in the games. I see no real use in combat for the Fire and Ice arrows.

The bomb arrows are more powerful shot for shot compared to the fire and ice arrows.

I agree. I posted a thread like this shortly after my first run through TP (Almost a year ago). It's rediculous, you end up having to use a deranged chicken (occoo) to warp instead of farore's wind.

I never noticed that TP didn't have magic...


And when someone told me I got upset, then thought about it, and realized that Twilight Princess kicked ass and shrugged it off...


Magic or no magic, still an awsome game.



Magic doesnt make the game, Link kicking alot of ass makes the game.

It does have magic? I don't know if you mean, magic that Link can use, or just magic in general. Let me name a few magic things.

~Midna uses Magic
~Ganondorf uses Magic
~Zant uses Magic
~The Twili use magic
~The fused shadow is Magic

Thats all I can think of now.

EDIT: HARHAR! He uses Light arrows at the end.

^No, Zelda uses light arrows at the end.

But, it still is considered magic. Link doesn't have to be the one to use them. They are stating that it has a lack of magic. Thus, it does have magic, the Light Arrows. Which are, indirectly, used by Link.

Not everyone is a blind Twilight Princess fan, hon.

I would've liked some magic items in Twilight Princess. It was fun collecting spells and rationing their use in Ocarina of Time.

There was really nothing to collecting the magic in OoT. You went in a cave, talked to a fairy, and bam! You got yourself a magic item. Nothing really for there use, except to make combat easier.

And you know whats worse than a blind TP fan? A blind OoT fan, and trust me, I see WAY to many of them here.

Link was badass enough in TP, anymore badass and they'd have to play the Shaft theme song everytime he walks into a room.

Obviously, the removal of magic was to remedy this issue.

They seem to not have any magic in the most recent Zelda games .....

TMC, FSA, TP and PH don't have magic.

I was hoping that the magic arrows would be in TP. They were in WW with hardly any use at all.

But someone I liked the lack of a magic bar in TP. Must be me. O_o

God the ice and fire arrows were goddamned useless as all hell in WW.

Completely useless in combat. Any enemy that could be frozen is better off being slashed to death.

I can't even finish the WW anymore, it's just too damned boring. Got to Wind temple and completely lost interest.

TWW is one of my favorite Zeldas, but I have to agree with you. The sluggish pace makes it a pain to complete.
