Age....

Is it known what age exactly link is as a child in OoT? The general idea is that he is 10. So after 7 years he is 17. Why are we calling him "adult Link" he is a teenager.... Even if he was 11 or 12 it doesn't make an 18 or 19 year old an adult does it?

I guess that in some cultures this is true but still.....

I think "10" is the generally accepted age, but Shigeru said in an interview he considered him to be about 8, I believe.
In AoL, we learn that "coming of age" is when you turn 16, so it could be argued that Link is 9 and 16 in OoT, since he had to wait till he was old enough.

I always thought he was 12 in OoT -.-

I could say young Link is 11, and 7 years later he is 18. 11 is an accepted age to me, and 18 is the age of adulthood.

hmmm...I thought it was 9 first, then 16.

I assumed somewhere between 8 to 15 or 10 to 17.

Young Link looks really young, not ten at all.

I assumed it was 12 and 19 in OoT, 12 in WW (That's canon!, so I think OoT young link is the same age.), PH is 13, and TP is 17.
EDIT: I think MM link was 12 or maybe 13.

I'm almost certain it has been officially confirmed that he is 10 as young Link and 17 as Adult Link. Eighteen may not have been the age of adulthood in Hyrule, it used to be like 13 hundreds of years ago. Besides, 17 is a young man and adult Link is just a title fans came up for him.

Yeah, if I remember right, I once had a guide book for a Zelda game that had a summary for all the ones that came before it, it said OoT Kid Link was 10 and so Adult Link 17. Also, it said that MM takes place 1 year later so MM Kid Link (I know they're the same Link) was 11.

I thought he was 12. Because in WW you get the clothes on your 12th B-day. They said someting about how you get the clothes at a certain age.
