Why are Zelda fans made fun of?

Last night I had this thought why do kids that are zelda fans always made fun of at school. Like this one kid at my school he is told that zelda is dumm and that he's stupid to like it. I know that zelda games are the BEST GAMES EVER, but siruslly why are we zelda fans made fun of?

Well, not everything thinks that "The Legend Of Zelda" is the "best series ever!"

Some "Zelda fans" might be "addicted" to the series and own shirts, all the Zelda games, etc.

...which some people would call "nerdy" and therefore make fun of them.

ya....im not exactly addicted, like i dont play every day, but i do admit LoZ rocks

well only my friends know that I like Zelda, I don't let me school know that I like it. lol

No one has ever made fun of me for this. I dare them to do it!

Those kind of people choose the thing you like most and say it's stupid to make you feel depressed for they feel good when everyone around them is depressed.

well i really dont see the problem in owning all the games, t-shirts, and such. i even bought a replica master sword as shown in my picture. i am a total nerd! and i tell everyone i know that. i even make fun of myself for it (yes weird i know)

We or I don't know if other people are but the people make fun of us because they have no life. There jealous because we can have fan clubs and talk to nice people like this while they sit there with no-life and think that making our lives miserable will make things better. If someone makes fun of you for liking Zelda, Ignore them, Yell at them, Kick them or punch them out if it gets bad. Believe me, i know.

Sony and Microsoft fanboys, thats all.

Why? Because they're arrogant.

Every new Zelda Console game has a cult following, and by the time a new one is released, they realise their stupidity. In other words, only TP fanboys are made fun of.

I wouldn't say I'm a Sony or Microsfot fanboy, and I gotta say, Zelda/Nintendo fans are pretty horrible.

I never get made fun of. Well I think some of my friends know I like it... but I never mention it unless they act directly (because I'm not obsessed) I also know people that like it too.

People get made fun of WoW though. I don't blame them.

kids at my school dont get made fun of cause just about everyone has played them even the girls
