The most annoying mistakes so-called "Zelda fans" make

When people disrespect (couldn't find a better word) the game's music.

Ooh... Don't ever criticize the music. That burns bad.

I hate it when people think that the WW link is a descendant of the OoT/MM Link.

fans who think there is something wrong with TP's plot, but it's just a little different than the other games. What's wrong with it,people,cause I don't see it.

People who bash on any Zelda game just to bash on it.

Different? DIFFERENT from the other games?

TP was a great game. The best Zelda game? No. Good plot? No. The part where the children are "kidnapped" is the best part of the story. And it was sorta weak.

People who say TP lacks depth, when it seems to me, to be deeper in almost every way than any previos title. (Honestly people. TP is unoriginal? OoT stole more from ALttP than TP did from OoT, it just gets away with it because it was the first 3D Zelda.)

People who hate on it incessantly because they think their pseudo-nonconformism makes them hardcore.

You can dislike the game. But nobody wants to hear your tired out reasons anymore.

not to be offensive, Alter, but I think the plot is pretty good. And you're right, it is not the greatest LoZ game. IMO,WW and TPH are.

The plot is great. Just not for a Zelda game.

I agree with that, but I dont want to get involved in that.... but I forgot to add to my list those who mock the music in the games. I had this person in my class last year who, while watching some opera movie said, "Hey, sounds like Zelda!". Long story short, I gave him a kinda offensive note that, shortened and censored, went something like "If your going to mock something, at least know what your mocking so you dont look like an idiot. Zelda has the best music, even outside of the realms of video games."

I used to be one of those people up until about a year ago. When I played Melee and saw who Link was, and who Zelda was. Then I decided to try the series by downloading OoT from the VC. Now it's arguably(sp?) my favorite series. Try new things people. And get your facts straight. You may embarass yourself it you don't.

Also, (to add to this thread) one mistake that Zelda fans make is that they think the series can survive much longer by not changing how these games work. The Zelda franchise needs to change some of it's stuff man or else it'll get boring. TP was like a clone of OoT, the only difference was that OoT revolutionized the series, TP did absolutely nothing.

I was admitedly one of those people, and I completely hear what you are saying. Maybe what should be said, instead of those that think zelda is link, those who insist it, even when provided evidence against that. Mainly because they played a zelda game with no zelda in it.(LA, MM)

Another one: When people call Phantom Hourglass "The Phantom Hourglass". It sickens me. Misspelling the name of any Zelda game really.

Believing the "Project Deluge" story isn't 100% fake.

Well honestly I haven't heard anything about a FP Zelda but that Project Deluge is undoubtedly fake, but a good idea nonetheless. Check it out here.
