Basic Terminology & Abbreviations

This is a list of things that are constantly abbreviated throughout the forums. This will hopefully aid you in recoginizing things and not being confused.

Any additions can just be posted and I'll edit them in later.

FSA - Four Sword Adventures

MC - The Minish Cap
TP - Twilight Princess
PH - Phantom Hourglass

AST - Ancient Stone Tablets [a spin-off game for Battleview Satellite]
FPTRR - Freshly Picked: Tingle's Rosey Rupyland [a spin-off game for DS]

You might also want to put in the console abbreviations, like NES, SNES, GCN, GBA, etc. They aren't exactly Zelda related, but I imagine you will see them more than a few times in Zelda discussions.

LCT = Link's Crossbow Training

TotOK = Temple of the Ocean King

i think one is missing in the games section

The Collector's Edition disc for GameCube (CE or CE-disc) also comes up in discussions from time to time

I feel the need to be the one to mention the 3 Zelda games that are considered 3 of the worst games ever:

WoG: Wand of Gamelon

ZA: Zelda's Adventure

FoE: Face of Evil

And one that I've not heard but am making up for those lazy people:

ZC: Zelda Cartoon

I don't know if it's worth putting up or not, but mainly just for newbies, ZU?

Well, people are going to mention the existence of the games, so why not? Sure, they were crap, but they were still Zelda games, so they should be included.

How about we just abbreviate every single place, object, or character in the Zelda series?

Well when you take part in long discussions, it's annoying to have to re-explain what you're talking about so it's easier to come up with abbreviations. So deal with it E.
