Favorite dungeon in the Zelda games you've played?

For me

LoZ: Um...dungeon 4? I really have no idea, they're all good but all so generic

AoL: They all suck

ALttP: Um...they're all good I guess

OoT: Water Temple, great music, great atmosphere, tons of puzzles, loved it (Forest Temple is a close second)

TWW: Tower of the Gods, epic, great design, great music (Earth Temple is a close second though)

TMC: Temple of Droplets, really fun and creative I think

TP: Snowpeak Ruins, great music, great design and puzzles, very creative (Temple of Time is second)

PH: Temple of Frost, really great puzzles...(if all of the dungeons in PH were that good I would like the game a lot more)

Overall: Snowpeak Ruins, followed by Water Temple.

What about you?

Re: Favorite dungeon in the Zelda games you've played?

LoZ: Can't really remember which one it was, but it was the second time I had fought that boss

AoL: agreed

ALttP: The tower on death mountain

OoT: shadow temple/spirit temple. Both are even compared in my opinion, and both for the same reasons

MM: Stone tower, no contest.

TWW: I think it was the wind temple, the one where you were with medli (I get the wind and earth temple mixed up alot)

TMC: Temple of Droplets, even though I hate the sliding ice blocks puzzles

TP: Temple of time, why? Because it's the temple of time, that's why

PH: Temple of Frost

OoS: Can't remember

OoA: Can't remember

LA: I don't remember exactly which one it was, but one of them took me six years to beat, that one. I think it was six.

Re: Favorite dungeon in the Zelda games you've played?

Well, my fave dungeon overall was Snowpeak Ruins -I absolutely LOVED the design and layout of the place, and the puzzles were fitting. Nothing has topped that.

aLttP: Misery Mire - I liked all the puzzles and the colour scheme

tWW: I really liked Wind Temple - it had a nice atmosphere and good enemies, and a good boss.

tMC: DEFINITELY Temple of Droplets. I dont know many people who dont think that that is the best dungeon in the game. It had good puzzles and a great layout.

TP: SNOWPEAK RUINS!! I loved how you had to snowboard to reach them, and how you had to explore the whole place, as if it was a house. I'd love to live there.

PH: I actually liked the Pyramid one... cant think of the name of it. It had all the traps and enemies I like, plus a cool boss too (love EOX).

And thats all the games I've played up to date... I think

Re: Favorite dungeon in the Zelda games you've played?

LoZ - Not sure. It's been a while since I've played this one and from what I remember, all the dungeons were pretty similar.

AoL - Haven't played it much, so I couldn't say.

ALttP - I loved all the dungeons in this game, but if I had to pick one, I guess it would be Ganon's Tower. It's huge, challenging, and easily the best Ganon's Tower in the series.

LA - Probably the Face Shrine. I absolutely love the eerie atmosphere created by the music.

OoT - Forest Temple. Again, I love the atmosphere given off by the music, and the dungeon's design really adds to that. Pretty fun boss battle as well.

MM - Stone Tower Temple, hands down. Awesome music and puzzles, plus a pretty deep backstory if you factor in the Stone Tower of Babel theory.

OoS - Explorer's Crypt. Once again, great atmosphere and music. Puzzles were pretty good too, from what I remember.

OoA - Mermaid's Cave. I love how you explore it in both time periods.

WW - Wind Temple. Loved everything about this one.

TP - Another tough decision, as I love all of this game's dungeons, but I guess I'll go with Snowpeak Ruins. Goron Mines deserves an honorable mention, though.

Re: Favorite dungeon in the Zelda games you've played?

ALttP - Ice palace. Large, creative, icy...

LA - Eagle's Tower. Hard enough to make me use my brain a lot, but not so hard that I have to use a guide.

OoT - Tie between Fire and Sadow. Fire for volgagia, gorons and some great fire based puzzles. The shadow temples atmosphere and music made it so creepy and cool, and the hover boots are pwnage !

MM - Stone Tower. Light arrows get a new use, the whole thing flipped upside down to create great puzzles and gomess and twinmold were pretty cool.

OoA - *Will update when finished*

OoS - *If this topic is still alive when I finish, will update*

WW - Earth Temple. It had the always cool Mirror Shield and great puzzles with the mirrors.

TMC - Temple of Droplets was cool. I have a thing for ice dungeons.

TP - Blarg, they all suxx0rz. I'll just say Snowpeak because its the most broken (glitched) dungeon, and its ice.

PH - Temple of Ice. You know why. Gleeok was also awesome.

Re: Favorite dungeon in the Zelda games you've played?

OoT: Spirit Temple. I loved the atmosphere, the puzzles, the music, the everything! It's also the first temple I've beaten without help (my first time through), so that remains special.

MM: Great Bay Temple. Yeah, it was really fun and challenging. I loved how it was a sort of maze with different corridors leading from the main room. You then had to figure out where to go and when. The boss, Gyorg, was also very fun!

TWW: The Forbidden Fortress. Yeah, it was really fun sneaking around and such. Disabling the lights and all that. You had to go through it twice: once to retrieve your sword, and again to save your sister, Aryll. And the boss was a giant bird. Can't forget that.

TP: The mansion, what was it called? I loved the atmosphere, the music, and everything else! Except some of the enemies. Yeah, they just got annoying. My favorite item, the Ball-and-Chain, was obtained there. And my favorite boss, Blizzeta, was fought there. 'Nuff said.

PH: The ice one...what was it called? Yeah, ice places are cool, quite literally. It was really fun for me, although I can't remember the fine details. I need to play that game again. I do love the boss there!

Re: Favorite dungeon in the Zelda games you've played?

OoT-Water temple, i liked the aquatic theme of it.
MM-Woodfall temple, because the music was weird and ODOLWA!
WW-Earth temple, the music and redeads.
TP-Forest temple, reminds me of the Woodfall temple.

Re: Favorite dungeon in the Zelda games you've played?

Legend of Zelda - Level 9 I guess. It was more challenging and fun than the others.
Adventure of Link - No idea.
A Link to the Past - Ganon's Tower in the original, Palace of the Four Sword in the GBA version.
Link's Awakening - Turtle Rock, it's mysterious, fire based and has an awesome treasure. Plus it's (imo) the hardest dungeon in Link's Awakening.
Ocarina of Time - Shadow Temple, eerie, dark, quite challenging and has a good boss.
Majora's Mask - Stone Tower Temple, my favourite Zelda dungeon of all. It's challenging and has great music and more.
Not sure about OoA or OoS.
The Wind Waker - Wind Temple. Despite messing up the sages (Medli for Earth and Makar for Wind), the Wind Temple was fun and had a cool boss.
The Minish Cap - Palace of Winds, I guess. I can't remember that well though.
Twilight Princess - City in the Sky. It was very fun, unique and was set in the sky. Definitely my favourite in TP.
Phantom Hourglass - Mutoh's Temple. None of them were that great, but if I had to choose one, it'd be this one.

Re: Favorite dungeon in the Zelda games you've played?

OOT: I'd have to say the Shadow Temple. To put it simply, I love the Lens of Truth, and I LOVE fighting Stalfos!
MM: Stone Tower Temple. I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this one, but I liked the flipping the temple to get to different parts. I also liked fighting the Gomess, as frustrating as it was. Last but not least, I loved the battle with Twinmold.
WW: Definitely the Eath Temple. Just the suspense of waiting to see what lies inside the coffins kille me! Plus, I love Bubbles and ReDeads.

Wow, I strongly disagree with you. AoL is hardly a Zelda game, but the Palaces in it were changing, deep and a ton of fun.

Anyone who says that "they all suck" obviously never made it as far as the Great Palace.

My favorite dungeon was the last where you fight Ganandorf in Oot.

Re: Favorite dungeon in the Zelda games you've played?

Herm...

OoT: Forest Temple. I liked the music the best.
WW: Hyrule Castle (if that counts) because the temple is fun
TP: TWILIGHT REAML (if that counts again) because it's so unreally beautiful.

Re: Favorite dungeon in the Zelda games you've played?

Out of the few Zelda's I have, I'd have to say.....The Sky Temple in TP, it's the hardest dungeon I know, and the following boss is just there to perfect it. GO ARGOROK!!!!!=]

Re: Favorite dungeon in the Zelda games you've played?

OOT: Forest temple or Shadow temple. Shadow temple had those stupid hands though, in the worst places, and I kept having to start over.

MM: I'm only at the end of 2nd dungeon, but I already didn't like Snowhead. Forest one was OK.

WW: I liked all the temples, but I guess I liked Forbidden woods the most. I really liked the Deku leaf, and the boomerang is always good. I liked everything about that temple.

TP: Sky temple by far. I felt like Spider-man with those 2 clawshots, I thought that was a great addition. The boss there was my favorite, too. The chicken things (ococoo or something, right?) were fun.

PH: I honestly have no idea what the temple was called, but the one with the Spider boss. I loved seeing me shoot an arrow at it.

The only 2d one I've played is Link to the Past, and I didn't like anything in it, really.

Re: Favorite dungeon in the Zelda games you've played?

LOZ: Have played, but not all of the dungeons.

AoL: Haven't played yet.

LttP: Haven't played yet.

LA: Haven't played yet.

OoT: Haven't played yet.

MM: Haven't played yet.

OoS: Haven't played yet.

OoA: Haven't played yet.

WW: Haven't played yet.

MC: Haven't played yet.

TP: Haven't played yet.

PH: My favorite is Mutoh's Temple. The most creative puzzles where here Goron Temple and Temple of Ice also deserve an honorable mention. The others were too easy. Except for the Temple of the Ocean King, which is SUPER annoying.
