Zelda remake

Well I was thinking. I think all the old Legend of Zelda games should be remade! They should remake them to fit the Wii's graphics! They would be pretty cool. I wouldn't mind that happening. Who agrees?!

Considering every Zelda game is the exact same formula... aren't they all just remakes anyway?

If they remade Zeldas they would add **** and ruin the game

I think they should remake the Game Boy color Zelda games, because when I go back to play them now a day the screen seems to be too dark for me. ( I got use to the bright DS screens)

NES games should be remade. Some of the game boy Zelda should be remade. I hated playing them becauseof the screen.

I could handle aLttP, MM, and OoT remakes, as long as they keep true to the games and don't add a bunch of random crap that doesn't need to be in the game. Pretty much like acid said, but I think they should remake those three.

I want them to spend time on a new game, not a remake.

No. More. Effing. Remakes. As Tazryl said, they should be devoting their time and resources a brand new game instead of another remake.

I would very much like to see a LttP remake in full 3-D. Very much so. Yay.

But otherwise, I want a big collectors edition for the DS. How would this be done? Simple. Four DS Cards, each with a couple of games on it.

Card 1: The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link & A Link to the Past
Card 2: Ocarina of Time
Card 3: Majora's Mask
Card 4: Link's Awakening, Oracle of Ages & Oracle of Seasons

Yeah... that would be a dream come true for me. :>

^ I agree with you. What they made in the past should stay that way, because they will still be enjoyable for the older generation of that time. As you already mentioned, they are classic for a reason.

I disagree with making all the older games into remakes because most of the time, they add in so much c*** and it just ruins it. If they just made it into better graphics and that was it, well I will reconsider...

I haven't actually played any of the gameboy series of Zelda, apart from the release of Link To The Past on Gameboy Advance. But if they would just remake it again into a better graphic environment and to stick to the exact storyline of the game without adding any wastes (like Pictographs in Wind Waker and such) then that would be fine by me.

LOZ needs to the most, the details are so vague.
I would love to be in charge of re-making OOT

You could say that.


The argument could at least be made saying that ALttP is a remake of LoZ, and OoT is a remake of ALttP.

If there's a game, or rather games, that need to be remade it's the Oracle series. I wanna be able to play the games still, not dig up up my GameBoy Color should I feel like it.

I have always thought that it would be cool to play remakes of the older games. Although I do believe that it will never happen. The only thing that they will ever do is just make a compilation of the older games, never remake them. It would take too much time to do and then there would probably be people who wouldn't want to see them remade, so that wouldn't help sales very much. But I still think that it would be kind of cool to see the older games get remade, even the N64 ones, with Twilight Princess graphics or even Wind Waker graphics.

get a GBA SP, the GBC games work in them. It has a light built in the screen, and you can use the GBC link cable in it.
