Am I weird?

Look, i know you guys will probably think im nuts when you read this but...
well...
I just want to know if, when you're playing any Zelda game to you feel a sort of bond with Link? (yup crazy i kno )
All i know is...i do. (again crazy)
You see, i've pretty much grown up with the legend of Zelda so in a way i've sort of grown up with Link (i know i sound crazy)

Again, I know he's just a character in a game but it feels like i really know him and i would appriciate it if you would give me your thoughts on it and share any thoughts on my "bond" with Link.
(You can call me crazy if you want)

No, your not crazy or weird. I agree with you! I kinda get the same thing. I think that Link's one of the most easy people to bond with in the game and he doesn't even speak!

I don't think you're "crazy" I do this all the time in my games, like in Pokemon I never want to trade them. I sort of understand what you mean.....

When a person can feel like they actualy know a character. They can feel their pain when he or she is hurt(not actual physical pain) when they can laugh when the character does something silly. When you can't help but feel embarrased when the character gets into an embarrasing situation.

If a person can do this, it only makes the story all the more enjoyable.

Do I think your weird or even crazy? No, I think you are lucky to beable to enjoy this aspect of the game.

^Agreed. Being able to relate and feel the character you're playing just makes the gaming experience even better.

Link is easy to bond with.
When I was little, i always pretended i was friends with him.
He was my hero. And...still is really

Nah your not so weird, nerdy but not weird. And it´s nothing wrong with beeing a nerd yunno . But that thing about grwoing up with Link, that was kinda funny!

As long as you dont call him one of your close friends, your not weird.

I do actually feel sad when Link is sad. I feel happy When he's happy. I get embarrased when he does. And he always makes me laugh.
And I do feel lucky to be able to feel like this.
I know i sound like a nerd but...I'm kinda proud Link is my "friend".

Yeah you're right. I am quite nerdy when it comes to Zelda. But I can't help it.
Zelda's all i've known (well maybe not all )
You see, truth is i've never had that many friends so when I play Zelda...I like to think of Link as my friend. Its kind of comforting.
I know i sound strange again but, unlike real people, Link will never abandon me.
I can't believe i said that out loud

so in a way, i am a bit of a nerd.

Well, call me weird coz I DO consider Link a close friend. Like i said before. I grew up with him.
And if saying i'm close to him makes me weird then... i'm weird i guess.

In my opinion, everybody's weird but only the weirdest people are called weird. I myself am not that much like Link so I don't form a bond with him.

Then the developers have succeeded, the reason they make link speechless is to connect our intentions with Link, I remember feeling upset for him when Midna left and broke the mirror.

I agree with all the persons that just posted before me. As for me I actually have that bond too. Not only that but i have notice that it make the game more enjoyable. I feel like i'm bond to Link because it's like if I was there with him, feeling the pain, happiness, sadness, and even the adventure! So no, your not crazy!

It doesn't happen to me. Though I do think he is a cool charactor. That how I feel.
