No it's not for me, but I might find some of them usefull though! This's the place for vetts to share some of the beginner wisdom that doesn't come with the instuction manual. Weather it's a simple tip or a complex strategy to smash a boss in like ten seconds, it doesn't even have to be Zelda related.

Also for those who want to do boss battles, you can simply say it. But a one, two, three type list might be better. So whatever you want to post (that is on-topic) go ahead and post it.

Because it's "general" hmm...mybe better for zelda stuff anyway, but yeah. post any Zelda tips then. at least there's an option to do that.

Dodongo dislikes smoke

a heart peice in oot that you get as an adult u cant get as a child.On death mountain after you throw bombflower to open dodongos cavern u see a heart peice above that you need to plant a seed and come back as an adult.instead do this.
1.open cavern
2.let bomb flower regrow then throw off the cliff
3.then backflip using targeting(L button)of the cliff towards the heart
4. grab the heart fool!
-note-you need to have full health or close to.

Kakariko Adult HP as Child: Go to the top of the watch tower near the stairs below the potion shop. When you get up, hold L/Z, walk foward until you can't anymore, then hold left on the conrol stick until you can't go more left, then sidehop. You will land on afence and can talk to the guy on the purple roof.

5 second ghoma: When the battle starts, use slingshot/deku nut to stun her. Now pull out a deku stick and jump attack. Mid jump attack, un Z/L target and hold R so when the jumpslash finishes, link will be shielding. Now when he starts to shield, press B (while still shielding) to do a crouch stab and stab her eye. Do it once more and she's dead.

Cool, I'll give it a shot next time. Well here's a few I have.

Keep it cool
When facing enemies with swords axes exct, use z-targeting and take it slow. Don't just rush in, wait for them to come towards you and backflip then jump attack. Or you could roll behind them and attack from behind. The later only works if the enemy is un-armored.

Pro-shot
When using the slingshot/bow on multiple wall enemies, z-target the first. Then on the exact second you launch the arrow, press z-target again (keep holding the item button down!), repeat this until the wall is clear or you can't target or reach them.

Finding the weakpoint...(duh)
The bosses weakpoint is usually found by using the tool you find in the dungeon. (morphia = hookshot) The obvious way to find the weakpoint is to pay attention to the opening movie of the battle. Also take note of the invironment around you, you may have to use it to your advantage.

Save for a rainy day
When buying supllies, don't just spend like crazy. If you know you don't need it right away, just buy the minimal ammount and buy the bigger ammounts when you're running on emty.

Alright, in aLttP, smashing frozen enemies with the magic hammer usually gives off magic. So if you're in a room full of nasties, just use the Ether medallion and hit all the resulting ice sculptures with the magic hammer. If you're low on magic, that'll probably refill the bar too! Same goes for the Ice Rod.

In alttp, throwing pots at enemies is a one hit kill for some reason. WTF is up with that?

Remember. Despite its name, a doesn't attack. I learned that the hard way against a deku baba in OoT

Ok how about this. Dont attack the coccos!

Ganondorf TP last form trick. Use the fishing rod and cast at or above him. You should then be able to get a few extra hits in as ganondorf should still be looking into the sky for some reason.

Timing is everything...........In Level 6 of LoZ fire an arrow the split second you walk into Gohmas room. It will be a direct hit into her eye and you'll get the heart piece without taking any damage.

It would hurt more than a sword being slashed at your chest?

If the guy with the pot sneaks up behind you and you don't get out of the way, you're pretty much dead ether way.
edit: slashes cant kill directly, only stabbs to the stomach, lungs, & heart are THAT deadly. A slice on your neck maybe a few minutes, but anywhere else it'd take hours or even DAYS if the person knows their way aroun the ol cotten swabb.
