my zelda collection and wishlist - comments: complete / inofficial / missing items?

Hi everyone,

I am new here, and I wanted to present my zelda collection to you.

Why? Because I am not sure if all my items are complete, like if some games are missing consumer informations, advertisements - or if some items are maybe fakes? I can tell fake Game Boy games, but not fake Gashapon figures (if there are any?) - I am also not to sure about that game watch from the UK.
I also have a plush doll where I don't know where it is from, or if there are any more of that kind. If the item is not yet in my possession (it is on the way then or preordered), then it is clearly marked. All other pictures are of my stuff here, so you can tell if something is missing or looking weird.

I also have a wishlist at the end. Is there maybe something I am absolutely missing out - that is neither in my possesion nor on the list, but is a must-have for any fan?

Just so you know, I am from Europe, so the games are PAL-versions (some are from the US, but most from Europe) - and they look different than US-versions. I am counting on some Europeans being here as well though, so I would appreciate any help, comments and ideas

So here it is, I put the pdf up on rapidshare:
click me!
I already tried to download it myself, and it worked, so you shouldn't have any problems.

uhm, what kind of proof do you want? why do you not trust this? I know it is a cool collection, but I am also sure that there are many out there that are way bigger. I can attach a pic of the glass case I have most of the stuff in, so you can find almost all the items there again.

for once I don't have any soundtracks besides that lost track cd I got off the VIP points from Nintendo, and no figures (statues) besides the gashapon ones. if I really faked this, I would have included some rare figures which go for insane prizes.

so i will take a pic now of everything together to satisfy you. maybe then someone can comment on what is missing from some items, and what is inofficial? thanks!

okay, I took a pic, so I upload that one as well.

click for pic

now any helpful comments would be appreciated.

again, this is not a fake, it is my very own collection I acquired over many years.

Okay, first of all, don't double post, it's against the rules, which you should take the time to read.
Secondly, why not just host the image somewhere since rapidshare it the most irritating site on the net.

sorry, won't happen again. I wouldn't know where to host the pic, I don't have any webspace. so rapidshare sounded like a good idea since the file sizes were too big to upload them here. any suggestions of better sites than rapidshare?

I would host them on any image site, I prefer photobucket, and then just post the images into your posts with [img] tags. By doing that, it eliminated the link, and just shows your picture in your post, which is a lot more convenient for other users.

I don't see the WindWaker or the Collector's Edition.

What's the triforce box middle shelf?

You're also missing OoT figurines, Link, Zelda, Ganon, Epona. That's all I can make out without having a close up of each shelf. But yes, very impressive.

It's pretty nice to have a closet full of zelda stuff.... but do you have a Link lollipop? It's officially from nintendo, and all though it's gross to have kept the lollipop for so long... well whatever.

It's a stupid thing to add to a collection... but just something I suppose.

I'm not sure what kind of things you're looking for to add to the collection... but maybe some Zelda comicbooks?... if that counts as anything official

hi, here are more close ups of the different shelves, since photobucket works for me now:
whoever wants more detailed descriptions of the items download the pdf I liked in the first post. I have close up pics of every item in that, plus the description what is included. I also added an item I preordered, which will be here in June.

this is the top shelf with the NES to N64 titles including the famicom disk one, and the poster of LttP. the games sit on the OoT guide book. the game & watch is also there.

2nd shelf is all portable games, from Game Boy through to DS, including DS Lite Golden Edition, plus GBA SP Golden Edition with the games. That is the golden Box, the GBA SP special edition. Phantom Hourglass Guide Book, DS stuff + gashapon stuff.

3rd shelf is GC and Wii, plus guide books for WW and TP, including Zapper and Soul Calibur. so there is WW in both limited editions (golden and black game cases)

4th shelf is general merchandise: board game, soundtrack OoT lost tracks, plush doll, sling bag, Sword & Shield edition of TP ect.

and this is my wishlist for items I don't have yet but want to own someday *dreaming...* no am I still missing something extremely vital? is something in my collection obviously fake? thanks!

Games:
Zelda 2 Famicom Disk System
Super Smash Bros. (N64)
Super Smash Bros. Melee (NGC)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)
complete games for the ones that are missing manuals ect

Guides:
A Link to the Past
Majoras Mask
Minish Cap (US)
Links Awakening
Links Awakening DX (US)
Oracle of Seasons and Ages (US)
Zelda Collectors Edition (US)
Four Swords Adventure (US)

Merchandise:

Yujin Phone Straps Minish Cap 6 figures
Link + Epona gold statue Nintendo VIP
Gashapon Sound Drops
other plush dolls if there are any!

well... a lollipop? thanks for mentioning that, I didn't even know that there were some available. if it was still wrapped - well - i don't know. probably not even then... okay, if I would be able to vacuum-seal it to protect it from ants

I have one comic, it is from the german club nintendo to promote ocarina of time. it is hard to see on the pics here because games are sitting on it (this glass case is too small!), but you can see it closely in the pdf file.

are there any more comic books? I just know of some japanese ones. I don't speak japanese, so I wouldn't know for what things to look for in case of authenticy. learning japanese is on my list of things i will definitely want to do in my life. maybe once that is done.

or are there english comics?

There's another topic here that mentions that an english version of the japanese comics will be out october-ish.

The lollypops came in a box with a series of other nintendo characters, I'll post up a stupid picture

This is a picture of the lollipop

Also, by here, he's saying that the Zelda Magna may come out in The United States in an english version.

Rath, where in NY are you?

You may be able to find it, or maybe buy them wholesale somewhere, but that's for another thread. Don't go bringing up links and things, for that's advertising.

I am not aiming for a complete collection, if you think so because of the title, I was asking people to look over the content stated for each game / item if they were complete. I know that it is absolutely impossible to get a complete collection. you seem to have everything, but where is the DS lite in gold and in silver? (just kidding, your collection is amazing!)

how much did you pay for the gold statue that was on the website for VIP points? I didn't have enough points... and now it is up on ebay for 250 euro - which I think is too much. it is just gold painted plastic.

the wind waker GC edition is on my wishlist! and i just added that mysterious zelda box to it... what exactly is it? the big black box in your glass case.

and what are those 4 pixel figures? (don't know how to describe them better.)

yeah i have it, its in the picture of the 2nd shelf.
edit:

I just saw you edited your message again. I started collecting Zelda stuff like 5 years ago, up to then I just enjoyed playing the games. but as you can see in the link posted by shigeru, there is a lot I will have to work for...

wow that dudes collection is amazing. i am just curious why he has every game like at least twice? does anyone speak frensh? maybe be talked about that in the post.

My collection isn't even close to being complete either :p...I'm tended to skip the luxury things like the Zelda DS Lite's first, because I've already got a DS lite xD...

I DID have enough VIP points ;]. So yup, I just got it from the Nintendo-website. And NO WAY that it's just gold painted plastic xD! It's this...hard PVC, which almost feels like stone or metal. If you drop it, it breaks, 100%. It feels really tough and strong...it's not just cheap plastic. It's an awesome statue. I think it's the coolest thing I own next to my Tin Edition from Twilight Princess for the Wii (only 100 pieces worldwide):

The Zelda Box includes 2 figures from The Wind Waker, an official soundtrack (a 'best of' one) and a The Wind Waker guide with a lot of general info about Zelda too.

Those are Dot Matrix Figure packages. You can find em on eBay...they're called dot figures most of the time. You can create different characters out of different packages.

wow, that TP tin box is really cool! I had never heard about that! how were you able to find it, why only 100 pieces?

thanks for the info on the box and the figures. we should throw our collections together and open up a museum

have you looked by chance at the pd
