Crazy (probably not true) rumors.
There's this guy in my art class who is a total Zelda-freak just like me.
He says they're going to bring out a new Zelda game that will br totaly different from the rest of them. He said Link wont use swords, he'll use guns. Epona will be replaced by a motor cycle. And Hyrule will be a modern city. Now i don't know if he was telling the truth or not. I just wanted to know if you guys knew anything about it. I hope it's not true. If it is it'll kill the series!

Heh, there's no truth to this.
The directors have said they want to take the series in a new direction, and that TP will be the "last of it's kind" or something like that, but they never even remotely implied modernizing it.

Yea thats insane. That would indeed kill the series. That'd be like giving sonic and shadow guns...oh wait, they did that.

Honestly if Nintendo wanted to make a game like this they are better off starting from scratch. It would be the smart mans move, and as far as I know, Nintendo is not run by trigger happy thirteen year olds.
