Zelda Re-released...
So I was thinking the other day, and it kinda occurred to me that just about every Zelda game has been re-released.
LoZ : NES, Collectors Edition, GBA, VC AoL : NES, Collectors Edition, GBA, VC A Link to the Past : SNES, GBA, VC Links Awakening : GB, GBC Ocarina of Time : N64, Collector's Edition, Master Quest, VC Majora's Mask : N64 Collector's Edition Oracle of Seasons/ Oracle of Ages: GBC unsure Four Swords : GBA unsure The Windwaker : Collector's Edition playable demo, GC Four Swords Adventures : GC, unsure The Minish Cap : GBA, unsure Twilight Princess : GC, Wii Phantom Hourglass : DS I don't know, it just seems to keep going where a Zelda game will come back to us in some certain amount of time, ya know? What are you thoughts on it? Do you think Nintendo will keep re-releasing games in the future?

I hope so because then its alot easier to get to play all of them. It would be alot harder to hunt down a SNES or NES for some games. Ugg, but I still want to play Link's Awakening and I gave my GBC away a long time ago

Nah, I´m not really sure. But maybe if they get enough request from people who has lost their SNES, or GBA..etc, maybe then they will re-realese some of the games I´m not sure. Hey, I´m still hoping to merge Nintendo and SonY!

Perhaps Nintendo will continue with the idea of the Virtual Console, of course getting bigger and better in years to come, and with the release of newer consoles. Perhaps eventually, the Gamecube titles would become available for official download.
The problem with re-releasing the later games on to different formats would be a possible lack of support in terms of the hardware. PH couldn't easily or efficiently be ported to any console other than the DS with it's touch screen capabilities. The same will likely apply to the next Wii Zelda title.

i think nintendo will keep rereleasing these games for a few reasons.Its easier to own,people love zelda and Nintendo loves making money.(who doesn't!).I mean im looking to collect all of the zelda games(real ones not the nightmare that was cdi zelda)and here are the ones i own.
OOT OOT MQ TP TWW Plus i just got my wii online.So all the zelda titles on VC

Nintendo tries to milk their games for every penny. We'll be seeing re-releases for a long time.

Yes cause they care nothing except http://www.biblehelp.org/images/stacks%20of%20money.jpg. (searched by google images) and don't have the imagination to make the 'true' Zelda games for the hardcore fans. They know they lack the imagination so they do the next best thing according to their minds. Shell out money by rerealising old games making them sound new to the next generation.
It's the almost 'perfect' scheme. Someday people will wake up and realize they aren't getting what they paid for. That rich and fun Nintendo game that balances the dreams of many. Darn you Ninty. :> Good thing I am boycotting your (edit) newer (edit) products. |

True but they have never fully remade a title. (Master Quest is the same thing only its harder)

I hope they do. They should take all the nes zelda games and redo them to tyodays graphics!
