Which Link is the best Swordsman?

Out of all the Links, which one do you think uses his sword best? This is assuming that all of the Links know all of the sword techniques that they can know. I think that TP Link is the best. Why? Because Backslice is awesome.

Heh, agreed, the backslice is indeed awsome. I think over all TP link was the best, but the minish cap link was a close second, also having alot of techniques he could learn.

From what I've seen, it seems like they keep getting better as the games come out.

I mean look at Classic Link. All he did was stab stuff.

Yeah, I agree. It was smart of them to make alttp Link slice instead of stab. It was also smart of them to give alttp Link the spin attack. The 2-D Link's may get the sword beam, but that only works at full health (or at low health in mc). Then there's Link in PH who knew Hurricane spin and was able to choose between a burning sword and sword beams. He was pretty good but he had no targeting.

TP Link because he learned 6 skills that other Links didn't have. However, the backslice and helmslice are simaliar to WW Links parry attacks.

I'd say Ocarina of Time Link, because I firmly believe that he is Hero's Shade, and thus, taught TP Link everything he knows.

The best swordsman would have to be Twilight Princess' Link since he masters all the moves Hero's Shade taught him, but if it would be confirmed that Hero's Shade is Ocarina of Time's Link then that would put Ocarina of Time's Link as the best swordsman.

It's a toss up between TP Link and TMC Link for me. Both of them learned cool sword techniques and such, something none of the other Links did. Well, apart from TWW Link, however, TP Link and TMC Link learned more.

Isn't it obvious that it's TP Link?

Altho TWW Link's spin attack was f'n brutal.

TP Link won a swordfight against Ganondorf who has a lot more experience.

For any of you who are still deciding on which Link to use, just imagine every Link entering the same sword fighting tournament. The winner is the guy that you should pick.

It's pretty obvious 99.9% of people will choose TP Link because of the totally awesom techniques he can learn!

Meh, TWW Link was uber fast with his Lil' Master Sword and don't even try telling me some crazy kid spinning around really fast, sword outstreched and coming at you would be pretty devastating. Also, the parry attack made battles, at least if you had some skill, won without being touched by enemies. I vote TWW Link.

Wind Waker Link had the best moves. How many other Links can predict their opponents attack, and then counter it by leaping into the air above his head, pulling a flip, and ripping down the back. It's like he's a Jedi or something!

Jedi Link = cool.

I did like the counter system in WW. But I think it was mentioned above somewhere that some of his moves were used as secret techniques in TP.

I prefer Twilight Princess's sword moves. Well, it is kind of an unfair question. Games like Ocarina of Time wouldn't have been able to perform attacks like the ones in TP because of the limit of the graphics and such.

But back in the day if I was to match the moves between TP and Ocarina of Time, I'd say OoT, because it was awesome back in the day.

It would have to be Tp because of all the hidden skills, but in PH if you collected 20 courage/power/wisdom gems it gave you some cool bonus', i can't remeber which one it was, but one of them made your sword shoot projectiles. But overall properly Tp

I'd say the Link from the Wind Waker. Shock horror, I know. I just love how the Master Sword sparks up in energy when you do the Hurricane Spin. Also, for a small person like he is, he defeated a lot of big enemies.
