Inconsistantcies

Anyone ever notice that in ALttP, when the master sword is sitting in it's pedestal, it has a blue hilt, and white/silver blade, but when Link is using it, it's a brown hilt with a blue blade, and in the official art of the game, it's mostly silver? Anoyone who has noticed something like this can post here, I dont want things that have a theory or meaning behind them, those can go in the theorizing section, just things that the creators may hav over looked, or changed.

Really? I was sure the hilt was blue both times.... I was looking at some riped sprites a while back (fan game don't ask) and I was fairly sure the hilt was blue.

In OoT at the end Child Link set the Master Sword in the pedestal and sealed the Door Of Time (presumably). The Master Sword is not bothered for a while until TP. When Link comes to take it in the present and you go back to the past shouldn't the Master Sword be sitting right there in the pedestal? How come it isn't if you took it in the present? If someone in the past took the Master Sword shouldn't that affect the present's Master Sword too??

What are you talking about? Link picks up the sword as a kid, not an adult. It's sealed with him, in his hand. He puts it back to go back to the past, and there it is in the pedestal when he goes back, right where he placed it as an adult (it moves back in time with him). Where's the inconsistency?

I think that the ZU ALttP items section has sprites, check it there.

TP takes place in OOT's Hyrule. I'm talking about TP's Master Sword not being there when you go into the past of Temple Of Time.

That might be because you are already wielding the sword when you enter...the Master Sword is more than just a blade, it's magical. Plus, where does it say you're entering the past when you walk through that door?

Most people assume when you walk through the door you go to the past. Besides, its all fixed up and everything once you walk through the doors so it couldn't of been in the future after TP.

And the thing is if you take something out of the present and you go to the same exact area where the thing should be, shouldn't it be there?

I don't know. But I don't want to turn this thread into a discussion about this. I already made a thread about this.

I didn't play TP, so I wouldn't know, but in real life it depends on when you go back to the past.

Present - 6 pm. Sword is there, pick it up
Go to the Past - 5 pm. Sword is gone. Return to the Present.
Some time between 5-6pm, Sword was returned to its place.

ummmm... of course i did, but just for the people who didn't get that, care to explain it again, or more in depth?
EDIT: okay, after re reading that a couple of time, I think I get what your saying, but it's late, and I just got home from work, so to clarify, u mean this would be like Link picking up the sword, being sent back in time. He ends up in the time while OoT Link is an adult, out on his adventure probaly in a dugeon or something, then returning to the present. This means that sometime between the present, and where he was sent, the MS was returned to it's place. Am I on the right track?

I'm not too concerned with art work inconsistencies, but in game stuff (if there are any) is what to watch out for.
