Zelda Teaser trailer (possibly zelda movie)
ive been working alot with zelda 3d models and animating them , but iv'e lately been thinking about making a fake zelda trailer and possibly reacreating majoras mask into a movie with pixar looking models.
Like i said in one thread ; i like the story , the new feel , the characters , the seizure inducing lights , and beutiful scenery , and i'd like to recreate them as a movie ; enhancing the story , the character's personalities , and even those seizure inducing lights ^ , that i said up there. Money isn't a problem for me , its just finding the right people to work for me . My reasons for making this movie is as follows: Real life movies suck( any zelda ones at least) im bored my harddrive that had that zfan game i was workin on doesn't work and im bored , oh i already said that... ![]()

Re: Zelda Teaser trailer (possibly zelda movie)
for a home made movie to look like shrek , the bee movie , or any others ;would take along time , not to mention the people that i have to help me. besides i would have to look up all that legal stuff and see if anything i make is alright.
but i would happy to give it to people on zu for free , thats only if i never make it to big screen , but thats highly improbable. ![]()

takes years of experience with tons of animators behind it. Not to mention rendering alone can take days. The best probable take on this, is great experience with Maya or 3DMax, And to do it alone would take years, even for just a trailer. With that alone, you simply can't make this and expect money for this. It's illegal to sell of copyright material, and no one will give you the rights. Rights cost money, and besides that, they're not going to give away rights to some one who's not experienced in this field. Nor will anyone give you the rights unless they feel it'll be successful, and for it to be remotely successful, producers back these sort of things, from various sources. - This only applies if you intend to make money, or any commercial gain out of it, other than for fun and for experience. With that out of the way, you're going to have a long and laborious task ahead of you, and not something that would be a 'whim' of such, if you are still determined to make this. Show me some of your other work, if you can, and maybe you'll be able to shed some light on this.

Re: Zelda Teaser trailer (possibly zelda movie)
well . i am aiming to have something that is less "billion dollar franchise" , but still has a quality that is better than any movie that people paid big bucks to make.
more cel shaded , anime style , good visual effects , good movie altogether . "why buy a nintendo 64 when you can download a nintendo 64 emulator for free"

That's where all the money goes to. The quality is from all that money, with the tons of animators behind it. It's like saying you're going to make a film of the same level as star wars, with no money. It's simply not going to be the same quality. I think you need to do more research before charging into something like this.

Re: Zelda Teaser trailer (possibly zelda movie)
Well in that case, I wish you all the luck.
Still, can I see your previous work?
