Worth playing all Zelda games?

Currently, I've only played through Ocarina of Time / Twilight Princess, and am trying to hunt down some of the others like Majora's Mask and Wind Waker.

And I must ask- is it work playing the NES/SNES/GBA games from before Oot?

Not necissarily before OoT, but I know that I really want to play those earlier games and actually beat them.

Like I said, I'm hunting down the newer ones, mainly WW, MM, and PH, but I was actually able to find the older games, namely TMC, AoL, LoZ, and ALTtP.

Yes. Just about all Zelda games are considered classics. Diffinitely Play all the console ones, then I suggest gowing through LA. Atleast LoZ and ALttP.

Pretty much all the zelda games are good but, the first two games (Legend of Zelda and Adventure of Link) haven't aged particularly well.

You should definetly check out all the 3d games and try to track down all the 2d ones (which can be found on gameboy), Link to the Past is a must, it's incredible.

Let's see.... I've TP/OoT on my Wii, gonna check ebay/older stores for MM, and get Wind Waker/ Phantom Hourglass later.

I'd also got an emulator, and found roms for Link to the Past/ Four Swords, The Minish Cap, AoL and Loz.

Any others I'm missing?

Yes, they're all worth playing. Since you're not old school you might not enjoy the older ones, but they're still worth a shot.

Personally, A Link to the Past is my favorite Zelda game of all time, and many other people's as well. Make sure you give it a try.

Well you need to play Majoras mask. Thats proberly my best game ever only competition is oot. And play ww to. Now about older games i would recomen alttp. You can get it on gameboy and out it on ds.

It is absolutely worth playing all of the games. The older, 2D games are far more difficult but well worth your time.

Emulators are against the rules here. No talking about them.
...but personaly, I recomend them.
But yes, the only ones I don't suggest you waste too much time trying to get are AoL and FS. AoL isn't all that great (To say the least), and FS is hard to play wothout someone else there to play as P2.

Otherwise, play them all.
I especially suggest MM, WW, LttP and LoZ. All great.

Well, I didn't really play the SNES/NES/GBA games before OOT, so yeah.
I suggest that you should buy ALTP, Windwaker and definatly Majora's Mask.

They're all great games.

Listen to me, if you have a Wii you can download The Legend of Zelda and Zelda 2 and they will probbly add Majoras Mask sometime. As a passionate Zelda fan I have beaten all the games but let me tell you, if you are used to the newer games, the original and its sequel will be increadibly difficult for you. They are both worth playing though just to experience the roots of the series. You can also get A Link to the Past on virtual console and this SNES classic is worth it for sure. this is a great game. WInd Waker is also worth it. All in all, play what you want.
