Something you Zelda fans should hear.

Many years ago I was searching stuff about Zelda, I mean like 4-5 years ago here, and I came across a OOT Zelda novel of some sort. I wasn't into Zelda at all back in the day (don't ask me why I was searching Zelda stuff), so I just ignored it.

Now a few weeks ago I was thinking "hey I remember seeing a Zelda book online a long time ago." So I typed "Ocarina of time novel" into Google and came across this: The Novel

Basically it's an author's website about an OOT novel, so I figured that it must be the website of the novel. So I e-mailed the author and was pretty shocked to see him respond (I thought that the site was dead). I asked him if his book was even published and if so, where could I buy it. He said that his novel isn't even out yet, but he's working really hard in finishing it. He asked me if the novel I saw was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Pathways to Adventure, and I Googled that as well, I found that was the book I was thinking of.

So I ordered that book from Amazon and now it's here, not that bad. But I'm hoping we can help this guy get his book published. It's supposed to be more of an adult novel, unlike the pathways to adventure one.

Now I'm not sure if there's anything we can do to help this author but to encourage him. He's serious about this project and so am I now that I've heard of it. Discuss, please.

Nice. But i wouldnt like to READ about Zelda, just play it...

I don't mind fanfic, as long as its good. For fanfic it should be posted for free though, I probably won't put money into it.

Cool, I wouldn't mind a copy of it myself. What about the already published one, is it any good, does it have it's own characters, ect., or is it like sugerpoultry said, a fanfic? How bout a small review?

Hey thats a good idea, I'd love to read a book about zelda. i mean i don't like to read much but it sounds like fun. i've always wondered if there was a book about zelda.

I don't think I could actually sit down and read that...would make me want to play OoT after like 5 minutes.

I'd love to READ zelda I mean woah! I recall books tell you more than the actual thing it could clear up the time line theory.

I'd tottaly read a Zelda-based book. I personally love reading, so I can combine my 2 favorit things together.

Ummm I hope he doesn't get into trouble since I don't support serious acts of violating copyright issues, and that is what he is clearly doing right now. He is stealing Nintendo work by making money off of it. Shame on him. If he gave it for free I would have no hard feelings since OOT is old but he is going to get caught.

I think this is wrong and a complete violation of plagiarism, anybody who disagrees plus supports him deserves to be thrown in the Sacred Realm. May the Goddesses strike their hands upon this Author. :> It is not HIS work but Nintendo when you write fan fiction for free you aren't stealing anything since you are just using the names in fact you help keep the games alive.

(But I wouldn't be interested, considering I OWN OoT...and already know everything there is to know about it)

Ah, this is a breath of fresh air. Much better writing then the usual crap you get from fan fiction.
