emulators

I saw some kids at school playing Oot on an emulator and I wanted to know if there good. I mean you cant complain about a free game but I just want to know if its worth the time.

They work yes [at least all the ones for N64 or a lesser system] but they aren't legal and thus you're not supposed to talk about them on ZU.

depends.. if you already own an original copy of the game it's legal to own a ROM

or if you erase it in 24 hours, it's also legal, no one knows what happens if you keep it more than 24 hours, maybe Nintendo is waiting for a special day in wich they pursue and punish everyone who kept a ROM for 25 hours or more...

I suppose I'm doomed, my oldest ROM is more than 4 years old...

thank you. I didnt know that i lost my copy so thats why want to download it

Yeah they are very fun. I have like every NES and SNES game ever made on my computer. I have N64, some PS1 games, and gameboy advanced and all that stuff.

I got Halo 1 to work with an Xbox emulator once, but my computer at the time was too slow to run it.

Its really fun to get the usb controllers, if you want to get serious. They even have converters hubs so you can just plug whatever console controller you need into it and play like normal. Then of course they have the generic ones, like we have 2 logitec ones.

Good stuff.

No talk about emulators/illegal stuff here please.
