Does anyone else think the dialogue in Zelda games is very interesting? One of my favorite scenes is the one in Wind Waker where Link spies on the pirates in the bomb shop. I love acting out the words in my head.
Yeah, I think so. It's always been happily quirky. These are some of the touches that make the game just a bit more interesting and cheery. Something horrible may be happen, but NPCs still have something silly to say.

The npc dialogue is pretty interesting, but I like the conversations that involve Link. Not the one sided rambling, mind you, but the ones that have Link responding to questions. Its fun to make a voice for Link and to decide what he says to theother people. Its one ofthethings that makes it feel like a Zelda game.

Dialogue is what makes up the story so of coarse its going to be interesting but especially Zelda dialogue seeing as it’s so dramatic. I can see where you come from Dosneg, my friend loves to read it aloud like a film or script from a play but that’s what it is really.
I mean, the game would be a whole lot more boring without it. Although there were some cheesy times when I was shaking my head in shame at the writers.
Could they not come up with a better way to convey Midna's laugh than "Ee hee hee?"
Yes, I always love reading what the computer people have to say! I always make sure to go around and hit every NPC available, before moving on. I also like how Link never seems to "say" anything, but the NPCs can understand him anyway. It's kind of like they're telepathic (particularly those times when Link doesn't nod, gives a "....." response, or when the game gives you a chance to answer).
