Heres a good question. Why do the metal boots make you sink when you put them on, but when there in your inventory they don't make you sink? Like Link can barely carry the ball and chain but he can move fine when he puts it away.

Another question I have is the Zora tunic. How can you breath underwater when you only have a peice of cloth on you that's colored blue? I know it's just Zelda, but I really wanna know, and how can Navi survive underwater and inside the volcano?

When you're trying to save the world, the last thing you need to worry about is personal hygiene.

When he puts them away he puts them into hammerspace or his "magic satchel."

Or, basically, they go into his inventory and have no bearing on the game since it would make the game pretty hard if they always weighed down on him. It's a game mechanic, that's all.

Because showering (and eating, using the toilet, etc.) would be a useless waste of time in a video game. Honestly, do you want to spend time in your otherwise action/puzzle filled video game to shower and feed Link?

Surprisingly, I have a better answer for this one than "it's a game mechanic, that's just the way it works."

The Minish Cap explains the fact that the Picori, or Minish, people (very small humanoid creatures that can only be seen by children) hide Rupees and other valuables inside pots, bushes, grass, rocks etc.

Speaking of TMC and the Minish, I always wondered why pickup items like Rupees were small when you were small. Seems like a bit of flawed logic to me. You shouldln't be able to pick up Rupees and Kinstone pieces and stuff as a Minish, as they'd be big enough crush you.

^ remember this post is just for fun...

What happens to all the Stalchild in the Hyrule field as an Adult?

No seriously, would have been cool to play OoT and go into the field with a bunch of Stalfos!

Why does jabu jabu look so small on the outside and then suddenly expands when you're inside.

And why does Link never get in trouble for bargin into peoples houses uninvited.

Notice that all buildings in most video games do this. It's due to both the "hammerspace" explanation I gave above, and due to the fact that Jabu Jabu (and other buildings) would have to be made way too big on the outside to even fit in the game very well. Or the inside would have to be too small for a suitable dungeon.

Because that would ruin the whole point of even being able to go into people's houses. The doors would just all be locked, or you'd be in jail for most of the game. I guess Link is just well known, or people in Hyrule like visitors.

They all matured into grown stalfos, which they then found better places to reside other that in the ground.

Well duh, don't all cows live underground? And they could easily squeeze through those small holes that you enter the caves from.

He can do anything, he rules that world which he lives in, and has the Triforce of power and I'm pretty sure magic comes into play here.
