Does Link ever eat?????

OK. Through all my years of playing Zelda i have hardly seen Link eat, drink, sleep, bathe or even go to the bathroom!
HOW DOES HE DO THAT?!?!

It's almost scary!

Maybe he goes behind a tree when you leave the game on and nobody's around.

He drinks milk.... keeps him going forever.

He does that stuff when you turn the console off..

It's a E-T rated video so there is realy no explamation.

he eats little fairies, jk. We do see him drink and at the beginning of OoT he's sleeping, however most VG characters don't take care of life's essentials(mario absorbs mushrooms and sleeps if you leave him long enough but that about it) even in Animal crossing eating was an optional activity.

I have yet to play any video game which includes going to the bathroom and eating. (Besides a simulation).

I think the answer is obvious. Link is a god.

This is an odd thread... Well, what would you do if you were the maker of the game? Would you really make Link eat, bathe, etc.? It would waste your time, even though it would make it more realistic. Also, I'm not sure about you guys, but eating constantly would annoy me.

Having to use the bathroom would just make a game dull. In GTA: san andreas having to eat was annoying.

IDEA

Link drinks the potions, this is how he gets liquid. There are two main potions he uses, blue and red. What do they signify? My theory is blood for red, and unoxidized blood for blue.

They both heal him, so it only makes sense that Link consumes hearts for health as well. It also makes sense that one heart only heals, well, only one heart, because its not a concentrated thick blood flow like the potions provide, its more flesh and tissue than the blood itself he needs. That is how he eats.

How does he go to the bathroom? He bleeds! It's that simple, you know like in OOT whenever he gets hit blood sprays out? And when he is hungry, his "health" is low and he needs to consume blood! So the whole "life" system used in Zelda is, according to my theory, just an indicator whether or not Link is hungry.

At some point in some games I do kind of question those things, but the whole bathing, have to nourish your character and using the facilities is annoying and is just too unimportant for an action game. If anyone here has played the Sims then you know exactly what I'm talking about. Always having to look after and baby-sit your character is too much for most people. Sure I would love if the
