Zelda + Mario = A Great Storyline

I was just puting up Super Mario 64 to play Zelda when
BOOM My brain Just Mixed Zelda with Mario.
Now my Brain won't stop thinking about it so could you come up with a plotline for
Super Zelda World.
It must be:
At least 3 paragraph's(PG)long.
At least 4 sentance's in each PG.
At least on a scale of 1-10 a 4
Nothing dumb.

If you think I'm being to harsh with the rule's and I'll edit them.

i have to agree. there is a reason that mario and zelda are not together already (with the exception of SSB, SSBM, and SSBB). they are really to different to be combined to make a good game

They are simply too different to combine. They are better on their own - Zelda has a combination of serious and comical characters, but overall it takes itself seriously. Mario is different...

I can't see that ever happening. Wishful thinking is all. It wouldn't be a hit or anything. The only way something like that would come close is if they did a Kingdom Hearts with Zelda and Mushroom Kingdom characters.

Frankly, I wouldnt want to combine Zelda with a sellout franchise.

(Aww heck, Link's Crossbow training...)

I hope they don't stuff up Zelda in stuff like this.

The results are pretty clear.

Mario looks so bad next to Link, that's what SSB has taught me. I don't think that *cute* characters should mix with the more realistic looking ones. So nah, I'd have to say WHAT? to this one.

Na, Zelda+Mario=horrid story line.

Pie Dictator couldn't have made it any clearer. It would be a disaster.

Thats ALMOST a good idea, except that Hyrule and the Mushroom Kingdom are in entirely different universes, as stated before. Now, if Link were somehow to find a dimensional nexus of some sort (much as the path to Terminia is believed to be), it might be plausible to do, but you'd still need to come up with a good, believable story.

Nevertheless, it would be fun to pit Mario's traditional foes against Link, and the Mario World would make for a real breath of fresh air in terms of what you could expect for in terms of game-play and design (as opposed to Hyrule and 'dark worlds', which have been done to death).

you can do that in melee, 1-player mode

Everybody so far has said they dont like the idea why? Well i wouldnt mind a sort of Mario-Zelda game. And if they were to make such a game, it wouldnt have to be a spin-off.

What if some guy named Mr.X came up to you and asked you if you liked the idea of a Zelda/Mario game? Would
you just snap Mr.X's head off and say "No problem now"?
