Lttp Sound & Drama, LINK TALKS!
In 1994, Nintendo released the Sound and Drama album of Zelda music in Japan. The album was a two-disc set, the first disc containing a synthesized orchestral soundrack of A Link to the Past. The second disc had the original soundtracks of The Legend of Zelda and A Link to the Past on them. A very interesting part of the first disc was the very last track on it, "Sound and Drama." This track was a 17-minute audio drama giving a backstory on Link and his mission to protect Zelda! There was a full cast of characters with voice acting, music, and sound effects. It's a very interesting thing to listen to, but unfortunately, non-Japanese speaking Zelda fans have never been able to understand it.
That changes today! click click listen to sound and drama

Re: Lttp Sound & Drama, LINK TALKS!
I remember making a thread once asking what the track was about. When i first heard the track i was fascinated...... its interesting to hear Link talk.
I've also read the English translation. |

we were discussing why that one guy in TP is called 'Darknut' rather than 'Darknight' in the Link's crossbow training thread, it probably has something to do with Japanese phonology. It's still funny though! Zeruda sounds like a name for a Zora ![]()
