If you were Link...

would you go on the adventures he does to save Hyrule and Princess Zelda? Would you be scared and nervous or brave and tough?

I would be frightened if I were him. I mean fighting evil monsters and going into dungeons to fight even BIGGER monsters? Not for me.

What about you guys?

Terribly afraid - (If real life concequences were applied).

I would get some underwear first then try to save Hyrule. I would likly fail, so ill let Zelda die. Thats what she gets for letting herself be captured soo manty times and then get saved by Link. Countless times Zelda got saved, and what did Link get?

I'd go on an adventure sometimes you have to do things that will help other people. If nobody is gonna do it then someone has to. If nobody did it then the world will be gone, or it'll be like hell on earth.

Well if the video game consequences were applied... I wouldn't be that scared. I mean jumping off a high cliff or endless pit would kinda be fun if a few seconds later I appeared at the top again! and he only loses like a fraction of a heart, so it can't be that bad.

But to behonest... i would be scared to death. If I were Link I would go out and go through all that, but you can bet your life when I am trying to sleep in some cave for the night, I will be crying myself to sleep.

To behonest, I often wonder how I would react in those situations. I figured out... I am a complete coward and to afraid for myself to do anything. *is ashamed*

But I always figured if something like Saving Hyrule or the world or what ever, fell on my shoulders. I would do my best to suceed.

But thank god nothing like that will ever happen.

*hears the door crash in and looks towards the door to see soldiers flooding in* "Ahh damnit!"

But anyways, I would be scared to death, but I would go through with it. I mean if i didnt do it, it would be for my own sake. But I would live the rest of my life with the idea that I might have stopped it all, and would save thousands of lifes.

So... putting up with a bunch of evil monsters that would love to play jump-rope with my intestines, not so bad!

But I always figured if something like Saving Hyrule or the world or what ever, fell on my shoulders. I would do my best to suceed.

Like get the magic meter early, visit faries fountains all the time, and collect every heart piece as early as possible? If a quest like that was in front of me, thats what I would do (although I would probably end up hiding in a safe place).

I know! nothing ever changes in Hyrule before you open the door of time in the game, so I would never open it. (Assuming its Ocarina Of Time).

In real life, I would be so scared.

Like others have said, in terms of video game consequences, I wouldn't be that scared knowing no matter what I can still live.

I would be terribly afraid in the temples. As long as I have a companion, I would be fine (probably, depending on who it is).

But in general, I would be fine. Riding on your horse or boat, feeling the winds, owning cool items and just facing the magic in Hyrule.

I would be pretty nervous about saving the world. Here are a few reasons why;

1. Would the Hylians get mad at me and kill me or something if I failed?
2. Dang, Link doesn't eat or sleep? Man...
3. Who knows what stuff is out there?
4. Too much drama. I always cry when something sad happens... What would Zelda say if she saw Link crying?
5. It would be embarassing.

I haven't actually thought of that. Basically, Link's health can kill you. Let's say that he doesn't need to eat, drink, sleep or even use the bathroom at any stage, which is fatal to human beings.
I guess you will need an unlimited amount of stamina to just keep on running and running and running and running... It's just not that possible in real life.

I'd freak out. There would be too much going on. And I'd get a headache from stratagizing the temple plans, where to find the key, where to go, etc. I'd be sick.

Perfectly said Zelda Ninja... Those are the reasons right there... In black and white. Link doesn't get ANYTHING for his troubles.

Realisticly, i would initially be scared, but of course I would fight the good fight. After all, these "monsters" over take your home town eventually in every game. It's like asking if I would fight for my country if were invaded. I'de be scared of death, but I would end up dieing regardless. Might as well fight for it.

To me, the princess saving would just be a bonus, or help, to save my people. THe bonus being, I may get some action from hot royalty. So, there is a benefit for Link.

It's like Heroes "save the cheerleader, save the world".

There is no benefit for them to save the world, except to save others. Link gets plenty of benefits in that he gets to talk /slash gauk at hot royalty female body (and being I just risked my life for months to save my people and ultimately save her, you better believe I am going to grab some butt as she walk away) and being able to know his friends and village are safe once again.

She'd think 'aw, not only is he brave he's also sensitive, my hero <3'

If I were Link I'd stay in his basement back in Ordon all day to look at myself in the mirror, so that would probably mean the end of Hyrule.
