Which Link had the toughest task?

I won't make this a poll, seeing as people disagree on how many Links there are, but I want your opinion. In which game did Link face the toughest challenge? I don't mean "what is the hardest game" but rather if you were Link and personally had to deal with it, what would be the hardest?
I think it would be A Link to the Past
Reasons:
One of the few times that Link does not have the Triforce of Courage to help him. His opponent, Ganon, on the other hand has touched the whole Triforce and used it's powers.
Link has to fight not only against Ganon, but also his own people who are under a trance.
I believe he had to fight in more dungeons than any other Link.
He had to fight Ganon 'on his own turf' by going into the Dark World, a world much different than the one he know, in order to free the 7 princesses.

I would say Legend of Zelda Link. Who does he have to support him ? Pretty much all he has was an old man to throw a sword at him and say "It's dangerous to go alone, take this!"

I havent fully played LoZ, but I don't recall ANY towns with ANY people, the only people are in the random shops here and there.

That would have been the hardest, to go through a quest without any guidance from anybody going from dungeon to dungeon in an almost empty world.

Yeah, the original came in second for me. You're right, there are no towns [they've all moved north to the new land that AoL takes place in]
Another argument for LoZ being the toughest task is that when he starts, Ganon is in complete control of the whole land.

I think the Majora's Mask link had the hardest task. He was told to save the world in only 3 days!

Really hard to decide all the Link's had a tough job but if i had to choose i'll have to say between the Link in MM, Aol or OOT. Their tasks seemed impossible to me.

I think the OoT link had the hardest task. He always thought he was a kokiri, then he finds out he's a hylian, he sees the Deku Tree, which was like a father to him, die. Then his best friend Saria supposedly dies just like all sages. When he picks up the master sword and Rauru tell him what happened, for a moment he could think it was his fault because if he hadnt pick up the master sword gannondorf wouldnt have reached the triforce. Even after all that, he found the strenght to move on. All that proved him to be the toughest Link of all.

Loz Link definitely. He has virtually no support and he must be very lonely. He must trek through huge dark dungeons and fight evil monsters. Loz really makes you feel like your on your own in the wilderness.

Majora's Mask I think, just because I'm the one controlling Link and I had the hardest time... LOL

OK, I think it's both LOZ and MM

I would really say, A Link to the Past. He's just a kid, living with his uncle, no parents. Then, the kingdom he lives in is taken over by an evil and cruel wizard.
He then sees his Uncle die, leaving him with the responsability to save the world. Then, he is even blamed for the kidnapping of Zelda, and becomes an outcast.
After facing many evils, he defeats the wizard, but gets warped and stuck into a Dark World. An army of Dark Creatures bent on killing him, all living in a dark and twisted version of the place he calls home.
Yet still, he carries on, through more dungeons then any other Link, to winds up against the King of Evil himself. And wins.
And all of this without the Triforce of Courage... amazing.

Probably A Link to the Past or Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask.

In A Link to the Past, Link has to beat 2 evil wizards all while having to deal with having pink hair and not even having a horse

In Ocarina/Majora's Mask, he's like, what, 11 years old? And he's fighting creatures that are 50 feet tall?

The legend of zelda Link. He was alone and had to figure out everything on his own

LoZ Link. Just because he has to fight rooms and rooms full of Stalfos and Darknuts. OoT Link only fought like two Stalfos at a time. LoZ Link took on like seven. Not to mention he's almost completely alone on his quest.

ALttP/LA Link.

He went through so much and some really bizarre things.

I bet his mind was totally messed up after his adventures.

LoZ/AoL Link would come in second....so lonely in LoZ. He has no guidance and pretty much no one to offer him support.

I think that Majora's Mask would have to be Link's most difficult task. Having to save the world in just three days knowing that all the people will face certain death when nothing is done.
