Tattoo

im going to get a LoZ tatoo, what should i get? or is it just a bad idea? i was thinking the Goron ruby/ hand print on my bicep, just like all of the gorons have, or the crest of the royal family, or the triforce on the back of my hand like link has.

I never thought tatoo's were a good idea but if you're going to get one, the royal crest or the link triforce symbol are the best in my opinion

If i were to get a tatoo it would have to be the triforce on my hand. I will probably never get one though. I think the triforce is the best idea.

im not to worried, ill do it to myself... ive done it before. but if im going to do it then i really want to be sure that its the one i wont regret. i personally liked the goron one though...

Get a gaint triforce on your back.

Don't tatoo your hand! It's sad but many tatooed persons that can't hide their tattoos have problems getting into certain jobs.

And be sure to go to a professional.

By the way remember that you'll have it for the rest of your life, the main reason i wouldn't get one is because i'm not sure i would want a wrinkly version of Link on my back when i'm old.

The Goron Symbol on your arm sounds like a really cool idea. It's obscure enough to not seem nerdy, and subtle enough to not be overbearing or distracting.

Plus Gorons are awesome.

If it hasn't been obvious enough, I love Gorons, and that's the exact same tatoo I'd want. I'm 22 and still have second thoughts on the idea. There are two things I'd deffinentally recommend:

1. Draw, draw, and draw. Make different versions of the Goron Ruby. Make it until you think it's something you'd love. Don't forget about different colors. I'm thinking of either black (like the gorons) or a color that's two shades darker than my skin color (just to be different).

2. Paint it on to see if you like the look and style. Make sure that you're comfortable with it.

3. Make sure the symbol doesn't represent something else. So far, the closest thing anybody could resemble the Goron Ruby would be the Shredder symbol (from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and possibly the Latin King Gangs (they are famous for having a three pronged crown as their symbol. Sure the Goron Ruby has three prongs and a diamond, but you could see how the police might see that as a cover-up)

I think my favorite is the Triforce on your back, maybe the Royal famiy crest ?

I've been thinking of getting a Zelda tattoo for some years now. What I would want, is the Sheikah Eye of Truth. I think it looks nice, and the Sheikah are awesome. Anyway, if I get it someday, it's not going to be the exact same as in the games. Maybe a kind of tribal, or some other twisted but recognisable version. It would be cool.

yeah, i forgot about the eye of truth, i used to be obsessed with it. i even made a ceramic mask of truth, but i still think i would go with the goron's ruby and just an out line of it maybe. also, thanks to BGS for being so helpful and informative yet again

But I don't really like tatoos in general. Small ones are alright.

Yeah, I love the idea of having the tatoo, but am I gonna like it other than in my teen years? I mean... when I'm old and saggy will I want the triforce on my back, and having to explain to everyone that no, it's not a war momento, it's in fact from my teenage obsession of a video game :p

I wouldn't want a tattoo on my back now since I'm still a teenager. Probably late 20's or something. I'm not really fond of tattoos, but just a small Triforce on the back somewhere would be cool.

I don't think I'll get bored of Zelda in future anytime soon.
