I begining to hate the owl's in the zelda game's.

Because I remember when everybody was talking about how cool LA was and they say that the owl is the main villain and when you opened the egg he come's to kill you. Also in Oot and MM I get mad because I keep on pressing A and then I accidently press listen to it again! Well I am sure glad that rumor in LA was false. Does anybody here hate the owl's?

I like him in OOT & MM, Hes a past Sage I THINK no idea how that works.
If your new to the game hes really helpful but if you know what your doing then hes a pain in the ass, much like peoples views with Navi.

Haha I always do that too.

And yeah he's annoying, I perfered him in LA.

I hate them too, the only game where they are actually usefull is in the Oracles.

If you press B while he's talking in OoT itll skip to the end. Its rather useful if youre impatient (like me ).

I think the owls are a great idea for new Zelda gamers but, for people that are used to the series, i think they make the games too easy. I for one could do without the extra help.

Come to think of it, navi and Midna are too helpful also. They are cute yea, but at my age and experience i'd happyly live without them. 8)

Yeah, he can be annoying, but its only near the beginning of OOT where he talks most, I don't even think he talks to adult Link, which is 70% of the game.

He talks to Child Link in the Spirit Temple, but that's it.

Plus, whenever he does talk to Link, you get to hear the wicked awesome owl music! He's not that bad after all, you know?

Maybe the reason why he doesn't speak to Link when he is older is because he might think that Link is mature enough to face everything alone. Because Link is older, he has the title of the 'hero of time,' so maybe the owl thinks that he has found what the owl has been trying to explain to him when he was just a little kid.
