What is the hardest Zelda mini-game?

Don't you hate those Zelda mini games where they are based on pure luck and no skill whatsoever? Don't you just HATE it when those mini games grand prize is one of the most important items in the game, a piece of heart?

I was just playing OOT the other day, and I (regretfully) decided to try to beat the treasure chest mini game. 500 rupees later (about 2 hours later?), I finally get to the last chest, I close my eyes, and pray to God that I would hear that sweet sound of victory. I hear that ever so familiar tinkling noise.

I could of died. I plan on giving it another go today, although with a heavy heart and little hope.

Although there are those mini games where you know that the Zelda people created them to torture the game users and test the patience of all Zelda fans alike, usually pushing it to the limits. I think we all know what I'm talking about, the Deku Scrub mini-game in MM. It's hard enough just to finish the game, but to do it within a time limit!? No thanks Zelda, I'm going away now. Oh wait, my strategy guide tells me the prize is a piece of heart.

Anyways, what is your most loathed mini game in the Zelda series?

In the treasure chest mini game you just use the lens of truth to see inside the chests, anyway i don't like the mini game in PH were you use the bow.

I quite liked the Deku Scrub Playground in MM :/
I think the shooting gallery near milk road in MM is pretty hard. Don't know if it's the hardest/my least favorite, but it's troublesome

Hehe, if not for the fact that I don't have the Lens yet, and for that matter, haven't even beat the second level as young link I would do that.

I would just skip it for a while but my nagging mind (for lack of better word) wants me to get everything as soon as I can as fast as I can.

I hate the Treasure Chest game in MM. I'm good at it, I just hate it.

For me it was rollgoal it was hard well thats what I think.

Lets break this down

OOT: The treasure chest game. Now I know that you can win with the lense of truth, and I've done that before many times. However, one day I felt like actually playing the game the way you are supposed to. 23 tries later, I won my prize.

MM: That stupid break the pots in one throw game. I must have blown 200 rupees on that game.

WW: The letter toss game. This is what kept me playing long after I beat Ganondorf.

TP: The second Star Game. I was only able to beat it once, and I'm convined that it was by luck.

LA: The claw grabbing minigame. I spent tons of rupees on it before I relized the secret: Place the claw in the top right corner of the rectangle and hit the button as soon as whatever you want hits the bottom left corner.

The other games don't really have hard minigames.

The letter toss game in WW. It tookd me ages to finally finish it all the way. But once i did, second time was a snap.

Oh, how could anybody not mention the postman mini game in MM where you had to hit exactly 10 seconds? I was lucky and did it in my 7th try, but I could imagine how frusterating it must've been for other players.

Rollgoal was hard for me...

I hate that mini game ;_; I spent hours on it. If you miss one target. ONE target, you lose. Glad I beat it.

I also hate the star game in TP and the cucco game in OoT (before I figured out the secret =/) The one at the ranch.

Throw all the cuccos in the corner then talk to the guy >_>. Which makes it so much easier.

Oh, I knew about that, I though you meant something along the lines of the super cuccos have distinct features or something.

I honestly think that the Bow & Arrow mini-game in Phantom Hourglass is the most difficult.

You leave the bunny hood on and the timer stays.

I don't know if this counts as a mini-game because it's a part of the main quest but...

the puzzle in Twilight Princess with the statues in the Temple of Time.

To tell you the truth I looked it up on the internet after a LONG time...

And that's coming from someone who is against walkthroughs (for the main quest anyways)
